Huawei will unveil the Mate 70 series in November

It has been confirmed by the company official that the highly anticipated Huawei Mate 70 series will be introduced in November. It is known that this new series will be one of the first devices to come with the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system developed by Huawei. This step is considered an important move towards ending Huawei’s dependence on Android and iOS. His company is reportedly preparing a large production capacity in China to highlight its commitment to local technology to counter US sanctions.

The Mate 70 series is expected to be introduced at the same time as the “Singles’ Day” discount festival on November 11. The launch, planned on or near this date, points to a strategy to take advantage of China’s biggest online shopping period to launch Mate 70 models. Huawei supplied 50 percent more components compared to the Mate 60 series to achieve high sales volume in this series. With this series, the company is expected to regain a strong position in the flagship segment.

It is said that the Mate 70 series will be equipped with third-generation Kunlun glass and basalt coating, which were specially developed to increase durability. While Kunlun glass is known for its high resistance to scratches and impacts, basalt coating provides high thermal insulation. This coating increases durability and longevity and minimizes the effects of devices on environmental factors. It is also stated that there will be flat and curved models among the screen options of the Mate 70 series. In this way, users will be able to choose according to their preferred screen type.

In the leaked information about the camera, it is expected to feature a 50 MP main camera and variable aperture. In addition, it is estimated that the device will be equipped with a telephoto lens capable of optical zoom up to 10 times. In addition to these features, it is stated that Huawei’s own XMAGE image processing technology will be used and this will provide better quality in photo and video shooting.

Another highlight of the Mate 70 series will be the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system, which does not have Android compatibility. This new platform from Huawei is designed to support only HarmonyOS-based applications. The company aims to offer its users a more secure and efficient experience with this operating system. This operating system, which is also supported by the Chinese government, highlights Huawei as an option to reduce dependence on western operating systems such as Android and Windows in the Chinese market.

Huawei Mate 70 series will come with Kirin 9100

On the chipset side of the Mate 70 series, Huawei’s own production Kirin 9100 chip is expected to be used. This new chip is produced with 5nm technology and will provide energy efficiency and performance optimization. It is also thought that the battery capacity will be around 6000 mAh and will be supported by high-density silicon-anode technology. This battery offers longer battery life while maintaining the thinness of the device.
