Huawei showcased its innovative technologies such as 5.5G at the 2024 Mobile World Congress

The 2024 Mobile World Congress, held in Barcelona, ​​hosts the innovative solutions offered by Huawei to the technology world. The event was a platform where Huawei shared its vision for future network, cloud and intelligence technologies and its latest developments in these areas with industry professionals. The company emphasized that it continues to take steps towards goals such as promoting smart digital transformation, creating an advanced industry ecosystem, accelerating the positive business cycle of 5G and preparing for the 5.5G era.

At MWC 2024, Huawei introduced its 5.5G technology as well as its products and solutions specific to F5.5G and Net5.5G. These next-generation technologies will support the development of network capabilities and improve the quality of life of societies by offering new use cases for homes, businesses and vehicles. The implementation of more than 300 5G commercial networks worldwide and serving more than 1.6 billion users by the end of 2023 once again demonstrated the importance of 5G and 5.5G in the future.

To contribute to the development of 5.5G technology, Huawei has cooperated with the world’s leading mobile operators and industry partners, promoting the verification and network deployment of this technology. Thanks to these collaborations, 5.5G network deployment started in major cities of the Middle East, Gulf Cooperation Council countries and China. In Europe, operators in Finland and Germany have validated 5.5G technology in commercial networks, reaching speeds of more than 10 Gbps.

Under MWC, Huawei will also launch the industry’s first telecom core model, offering intelligent applications for agile service provision and efficient cross-domain operation and maintenance. This basic model will allow operators to increase network efficiency and increase user satisfaction.

With the commercial launch of 5.5G, Huawei aims to help create green, stable, widespread and intelligent networks that are collaborative with operators. The company believes that such industrial partnerships will take smart digital transformation to further levels.

Finally, Huawei Enterprise introduced new smart digital solutions and flagship products for ten different industries at MWC. The Consumer Electronics Group attracted the attention of the participants with its products that combine fashion and technology. Huawei’s innovative products were showcased in scenario-based experience areas such as ‘Fashion Forward’, ‘Creation of Beauty’ and ‘Fitness & Health’, demonstrating the company’s success in combining technology and aesthetics.
