Huawei presented a comprehensive roadmap for the digitalization process of the Turkish industry with artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud and IoT -based solutions at the ICT Day event held in Istanbul on 18 April 2025.
Huawei ICT Day, which was held at a time when global digital transformation gained acceleration as of 2025, brought the strategies of digitalization strategies to critical sectors in Türkiye. At the event, which was organized with the theme of “Accelerating Industrial Digital Intelligence”, stakeholders from different sectors had the opportunity to evaluate Huawei’s artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud computing and IoT solutions. The event offered remarkable data in terms of technology applications that Huawei offers for the Turkish market.
Huawei Turkey General Manager Kaya Shi, in his opening speech by sharing the growth data of the company for 2024, Huawei globally reached 862 billion Yuan with a 22.4 %revenue increase, this is about 3.7 trillion TL today. In Türkiye, artificial intelligence, 5G and the Internet of objects such as integrations in the industry with the integration of digital transformation in the industry, emphasizing Shi, Huawei Cloud Türkiye has become the pioneer of the market with 100 %customer satisfaction. In addition, thanks to more than 1,000 experts working at the Turkish R & D Center, software has been exported to more than 30 countries.
With three separate sectoral summits, sector -based solutions were discussed
Three separate thematic summits organized within the scope of the event; Ecosystem business partners summit, production and retail summit and finance summit took place under the headings. In these sessions, Huawei’s solutions developed according to sectoral needs were introduced. Participants received detailed information about IoT integration in production lines, at risk analysis with artificial intelligence in the financial sector, and data -oriented customer behavior analysis in retail. During the presentations, Huawei’s reference projects were also put into practice in Türkiye.
R & D Incentive Assistant General Manager Ahmet İmamoğlu, who participated in the event representing the Ministry of Industry and Technology, referred to the 22-year history of Huawei in Türkiye and drew attention to the role played in the development of technology production and digital competencies throughout the country. Imamoglu emphasized that more than 97 thousand people have been employed in 1,347 R & D centers and 337 design centers throughout Türkiye as of 2025 and that the spread of technology investments is possible with public-private cooperations.
In his speech, Wang Junyuan, General Manager of Huawei Enterprise Turkey, stated that they focused on long -term business partnerships in order to make the growth in the Turkish market sustainable, and that they have achieved 23 %growth last year. He also expressed that they aim to progress with trust -based business models in strategic sectors such as finance, public and transportation. During the event, sessions were held under the headings such as “Corporate Transformation on the Axis of 5G, AI and IoT” and ı A smart infrastructure that will reveal the power of data ”.
At the end of the event, awards were given in different categories to 29 companies that signed successful collaborations throughout the year. The Huawei ICT Day 2025 recorded as one of the prominent activities of industrial digitalization in terms of determining the roadmap in Türkiye.
