Honor will introduce its new X60 series smartphones next week, on Wednesday, October 16. These devices, which will be in a higher segment than the Honor X60i released in July, will come with remarkable features. The company has already started to announce some features of the new phones on Weibo. The most striking feature among these is the presence of a huge battery.
This new battery that Honor will introduce is called “Honor Qinghai Lake” and stands out with its 6600 mAh capacity. This capacity means that the device will provide active use for two days. This is a big improvement over the 5800 mAh batteries found in the Honor X50, X50 GT and X50 Pro models released last year. The X50 series also included 35W fast charging support, but Honor has not yet shared official information about the charging speed of the X60 series.
Leaked images of the Honor X60 show that this device will have a 5,800mAh battery and 35W charging support, just like its predecessor. This indicates that the 6,600mAh capacity battery can only be included in the X60 Pro model. It is worth noting that the company also announced other remarkable features other than the battery.
The Honor X60 series (or at least one model) will have satellite communications support. In addition, the screens of the devices will use 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology. This technology aims to help protect eye health while regulating screen brightness.
Honor may introduce other products along with the X60 series
More information is expected to be shared before the official launch of the X60 series. Moreover, it may not be limited to just phones. It was recently seen that, in addition to the X60 series, a new tablet called Tablet GT Pro was also included in the official lists. This tablet is expected to come with a 12.3-inch screen and there is a high probability that it will be introduced on the same day.
