Honor Magicpad will leave the OLED screen with 3 and pass to LCD

Honor’s new step in the Android tablet market Honor Magicpad 3 technical details about the official introduction appeared before. Magicpad 2, which was released last year, was already estimated to be on the road after the new model. Leaks from China confirmed these expectations. Apparently Magicpad 3 will become official before the end of this month.

There is a remarkable change on the screen side of the device. While Magicpad 2 is preferred, the OLED panel is preferred, while LCD technology is used in the new model. Although the panel size has been increased to 13.2 inches, this new technology of the screen can be controversial by some users. Although the refreshing rate is not clearly specified, it is thought that the support of 144 Hz in the previous model will be preserved.

Honor Magicpad 3 increases the performance claim with a faster processor

Magicpad 3 will work with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, one of Qualcomm’s flagship processors. This chipset is one of the most powerful mobile processors of the recent period. The tablet is reported to be available with LPDDR5X RAM up to 16 GB and UFS storage space up to 1 TB. This hardware emphasizes not only media consumption, but also in terms of productivity and game performance.

The battery side features a 66W -wired fast charging support. This technology will make the tablet available in a short time. This detail is important especially for mobile employees and users who aim for long -term use. Honor is known to offer satisfactory charging times in previous models.

The design of Magicpad 3 also appeared with leaks. The device will come with three different color options: Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold and Starry Sky Gray. These tones bring together both classic and modern lines. In terms of appearance, a frame and back cover structure that was not far from the previous model was preferred.

The change in screen technology is one of the main headings that will attract users. OLED’s high contrast and vivid colors were especially advantageous for media consumption. However, the LCD panel can offer a more accessible product profile in terms of cost. But how this transition will be reflected in prices is not yet known.

The updates on the hardware side seem to balance the LCD choice to some extent. The performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is to support the long -lasting use of the tablet. In addition, wide RAM and storage capacity make the device attractive not only for consuming content, but also for users who produce. These features provide advantages especially for multi -tasks and high resolution applications.

The pricing of Magicpad 3 remains uncertain for now. However, when the changes in screen technology and the increase in hardware are evaluated together, it is possible to come with a price tag at similar levels to the previous model. In addition, considering Honor’s competitive stance in the market, an affordable but strong tablet may be targeted. In any case, the position of the device will be a detail that may affect user preferences.

Magicpad 3 comes at a time when competition increases in the Android tablet category. Honor is among the senior models offered by brands such as Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi. But how LCD preference will create a perception of consumers has already been a matter of curiosity. Nevertheless, thanks to the hardware power, the product is expected to attract attention in its class.

With Honor’s official introduction, other details such as price, software features and international access are expected to become clear. Technically strong, but the screen preference, but a radical change in the market to see the equivalent of the market will need to wait a little longer.
