Honor GT 2 series processor, screen and battery features leaked in detail

The Chinese technology brand Honor’s new generation smartphone series GT 2 came up with a comprehensive leak before the introduction. Digital Chat Station, one of China’s reliable sensation sources, revealed the technical details of the series early. According to these shares, the Honor GT 2 family is preparing to take its place on the shelves with two different models: one standard model and the other is a more advanced pro version.

It is understood that both models will come with remarkable choices on the processor side. The standard model is said to be tested with two different Qualcomm chipsets. The first of these is the Snapdragon 8 gene 3, and the other is known as the SM8845 code, a new generation and not yet announced processor. The details of this second chip are also clear.

The future of the Honor GT 2 Pro model with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is finalized

The SM8845 processor is produced with N3P, which is the 3nm production process of TSMC, and comes with a special CPU structure with ORYON architecture. This structure, which consists of 2 main core and 6 performance core, is ambitious about productivity and multiple processes. Some components of the SM8845 have a partnership with the SM8850 Code Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. In terms of performance, Snapdragon 8 is behind Elite 2, but offers a strong alternative for daily use.

In the Honor GT 2 Pro model, this new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip seems to be certain. This chipset, defined by the SM8850 code, will be the new generation processor that Qualcomm is expected to introduce in September. This chip, which will be included in the flagship segment, promises a serious leap in graphic and artificial intelligence performance. With this processor, GT 2 Pro can gain advantage against its competitors.

Both models will come with similar equipment on the screen. Straight screens with a 6.7 -inch, 1.5K resolution and LTPS OLED technology will be included in the devices. These panels, which offer softer transitions in terms of design with a 2.5D edge profile, are preferred in terms of both ergonomics and visual quality. In addition, the use of metal frames increases the durability of the device.

Another detail in the GT 2 Pro model is the fingerprint reader side. In this model, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will be used to be a first for the Honor GT series. This technology is superior to the classic optical sensors, especially in terms of safety and reading speed. With this move, Honor can overwhelm competition in the upper segment phone market.

Honor will continue to be ambitious in terms of battery capacity. The large battery with a capacity of 7.200 mAh, which was introduced last year, received positive feedback by users. The new GT 2 Pro is expected to offer a similar or higher capacity. It is predicted that this battery will provide a long time time with high energy efficiency processors.

On the fast charging side, there is no clear information for now. However, a similar solution can be expected in the GT 2 series, considering fast charging support of Honor’s previous models. This charging support, especially with the large battery, will seriously facilitate daily use. However, in terms of heating and performance sustainability, in -system cooling solutions are also strengthened.

The introductory date of the series has not yet been officially announced. But the clarity of the leaks and component information that one after another suggests that the launch is not very far.
