The Honor 8C is all set to launch formally on October 11. However, it has now been listed on Huawei’s VMall. The listing confirms that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 632 SoC in the Honor 8C. The listing also shows that the upcoming Honor model will be the first smartphone to have the new Snapdragon chip. Besides, another teaser came up on Weibo alongside the Honor 8C. Not just the smartphone there is another news coming up from the Honor belonging to the large Huawei brand. The company is set to unveil its new tablet called Honor MediaPad T5 tablet. The new Honor MediaPad T5 tablet may be the successor of the Honor Play Pad 2. The latter was also announced in India which is named as the MediaPad T3.
Honor 8C Specs
According to the VMall listing, Honor 8C is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 8.1 Oreo over EMUI 8.2. The smartphone has a 6.26-inch HD+ display. It comes with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Honor 8C powers an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC along with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with a 4 GB RAM. The Honor 8C has a dual rear camera setup with a 13 MP sensor of f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP sensor of f/2.4 aperture. It has an 8 MP sensor of n f/2.0 aperture in the front.
The Honor 8C has 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants, both expandable with microSD card up to 256 GB. The Honor 8C packs a 4000 mAh battery. Further, Honor 8C comes in three colour options of Aurora Blue, Magic Night Black, and Platinum Gold. The price details of the smartphone are not yet known
The Honor MediaPad T5
Talking about the Honor MediaPad T5, the official teaser has mentioned the availability of two speakers tuned with Samsung’s Harman Kardon. It will also feature a Huawei’s fifth-generation Histen 3D audio quality. Being the successor to the MediaPad T3, we expect that MediaPad T5 has an 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixels 2K QHD display powering Kirin 970 SoC.
