Google will hold an event on August 13 to introduce its new products. In addition to the Pixel 9 series smartphones, the Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch will also be introduced at this event. For the first time, Google will offer users two different case size options with the Pixel Watch 3. A new leak provides a slightly more detailed look at the Pixel Watch 3. According to information allegedly obtained from a source within Google, the Pixel Watch 3 is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor. This chip is also supported by another processor.
The 41mm Pixel Watch 3 is said to have a 310mAh battery, while the 45mm Pixel Watch 3 will have a 420mAh battery. The smaller version will reportedly have a 32 x 32mm display. The current Pixel Watch 2 has a 30 x 30mm display. The larger Pixel Watch 3 will come with a 36 x 36mm display. The screen resolutions will be 408 x 408 and 456 x 456 pixels, respectively.
The overall design will be similar to the original Pixel Watch and the Pixel Watch 2. The display bezels will also finally be smaller. Google is said to be reducing the rounded bezel by 1mm and reducing the bezel size from 5.5mm on the Pixel Watch 2 to 4.5mm.
The screen brightness, which was 1000 nits on the Pixel Watch 2, will increase to 2000 nits on the Pixel Watch 3. It is not possible to say that the brightness has doubled here. Because the perceived brightness does not increase linearly. Therefore, it is not possible to talk about a doubling of brightness with the human eye. Still, it must be said that it is a good step forward.
The Pixel Watch 3 will come with ultra-wideband support. This information was also confirmed by the FCC. Thus, the watch will be compatible with Google’s Find My Device system. If car manufacturers support it, it will also be possible to use the Pixel Watch 3 as a car key. Currently, manufacturers such as BMW, Hyundai and Kia use ultra-wideband technology for this purpose.

Google will offer black, gold, and silver color options for the 41 mm Pixel Watch 3. The 45 mm model is said to be available in hazel, black, and silver.
