Google’s new foldable phone Pixel Fold 2 may be introduced later than expected

Google Pixel Fold 2 with a foldable screen can bypass the Tensor G3 processor and come directly to users with the Tensor G4 processor. Tensor G4 is expected to be launched with Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, which will be introduced in October. This means that Pixel Fold 2 will be introduced on the same date.

The original Pixel Fold was announced at the Google I/O conference held in May last year. Many people expected the follower of this phone to be introduced in May. However, the latest claim points to a different situation.

Google’s Tensor processors never break records in terms of performance. However, it seems like a logical choice to wait a few months to offer Pixel Fold 2 with a better processor. The news about the foldable phone is not limited to this.

Google Pixel Fold 2 is being tested with 16 GB RAM

Allegedly, Pixel Fold 2 is being tested with 16 GB RAM. It should be noted that this RAM Capacity is a record for the entire Pixel series. On the storage side, it is said that there will be a transition from UFS 3.1 to UFS 4.0 technology. Therefore, it seems that a performance increase is on the way on this side as well.

Rumors about the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have been around for a while. However, there has been no leak about Pixel Fold 2 before. It will not be a surprise to encounter more news about this phone in the coming period.
