Google renewed Find My Device as Find Hub

Google has restructured the “Find My Device” service, which has long been included in the Android operating system, under the name of “Find Hub ıyla with a comprehensive renovation as of May 2025. While the application changes both the name and content of the application, users are aiming to track their physical goods and mobile devices more effectively. The updated Find Hub not only finds lost phones, but also turns into a wide tracking system that supports the location of items such as suitcases, ski sets or children’s bags. In this way, a more integrated and safe follow -up infrastructure is offered for Android users.

The new Find Hub application is based on collaborations with various brands to provide a broad compatibility with Bluetooth viewers. In this context, Google works with companies operating in different fields such as Mokobara, July and Pixbee, as well as manufacturers such as Pebblebee and Chipolo. Brands, such as Mokobara, integrate the audience directly into suitcases, while Pixbee will launch Disney -themed Bluetooth labels during the year. On the other hand, companies such as Peak draw attention with their follow -up solutions developed in sports equipment. All this shows that Find Hub has become a useful platform not only for telephone, but also for other objects that are frequently carried in daily life.

In addition, Ultra wide band (UWB) support will be offered to viewers such as Moto Tag in 2024. Thanks to the UWB technology, the location of the devices can be detected by sensitivity up to a few centimeters. This allows the Find Hub to provide more accurate positions without being limited to Bluetooth. However, in order to use this feature, both the audience and the Android phone need to support UWB technology. Although the number of models with this technology is currently limited, Google is expected to make this support more common.

With agreements made with airline companies, the location of lost baggage can be shared directly.

Google has started to offer a new follow -up for users traveling with Find Hub. Aer Lingus, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia and Singapore Airlines, such as international airlines, thanks to cooperation with these companies, users will be able to directly share the positions of Bluetooth labels with these companies. In particular, the detection of lost luggage will be made faster and it will be easier to find misleaded suitcases. This feature of the application will be implemented in the first months of 2026. In this way, the company aims to produce a digital solution to the problem of missing goods at airports.

Another remarkable feature of the Find Hub application was real -time sharing. Users will now be able to share their location instantly with certain people in their guides. Profile photos of these people can be seen on the “People” tab within the application and thus check which person is hidden in the map appearance. This feature is particularly available for friends, child tracking or family coordination. Thus, the application offers a new functionality not only in terms of device, but also in terms of human location tracking.

In addition, Google announced later that it will offer satellite connection support for Find Hub later. Thanks to this support, location sharing will be possible even in areas outside the coverage area of cellular networks. This innovation offers a significant safety contribution, especially for users who are interested in natural sports or travel frequently in rural areas. Satellite connected location sharing will work with supporting devices and mobile operators. When this feature becomes activated, the coverage area of the Find Hub will be significantly expanded.

The application can be used on devices that run all versions of Android 6.0 and above. This allows the Find Hub to appeal to a very large audience. The new application, which is currently replaced by the previous version of millions of devices at the Android ecosystem, can work in compliance with old data. In other words, users do not need to redefine the devices or labels they have defined in the past. The application automatically updates through the Play Store and integrated into the systems.

The main purpose behind the Find Hub is that digital life is supported by a security network that extends to physical items. Thanks to this application, users can now follow not only their devices, but also the indispensable parts of daily life. Many elements such as safety of goods, control of journeys and family location sharing become managed through a single practice. Google develops this application not only to prevent personal losses, but also to make users’ mobile lives more organized.
