It is said that Google will get the M14 OLED screens that it will use in the Pixel 9 series from Samsung Display, and that this panel is also preferred in the iPhone 16 series. News from South Korea states that three members of the Pixel 9 series and the Pixel Fold 2 model will benefit from the new screen technology.

M14 is Samsung’s newest OLED display material. The Galaxy S24 series features M13 OLED displays. It is stated that M14 has the best brightness and longest lifespan, while it is noted that the old display materials focused on efficiency in power consumption.
Will Google Pixel 9 come with brighter displays?
Based on current information, the Pixel 9 series is said to feature brighter, longer-lasting and/or more efficient screens compared to the Galaxy S24 series. However, it is worth noting that the new material does not guarantee a brighter screen.
