Google will unveil the Pixel 9 series on August 13. With this series, the Pixel 9 Pro XL model will also be added to the Pixel family. The smartphone, which is said to be the natural successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, will come with an XL case and Pro camera features. In a video by a YouTube channel called PixoPhone, it is possible to see the two phones side by side.
Both smartphones have a matte-finish black back panel, and when placed side by side, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is almost the same size as the Pixel 8 Pro, but that’s where the visual similarities end.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a flat frame, replacing the curved edges on the Pixel 8 Pro. The rear cameras are still aligned horizontally, but the camera module is slightly more oval-shaped and doesn’t extend from one edge of the panel to the other.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL has flatter edges and rounded corners. It’s worth noting that there’s a small chance the phone’s sharp body could leave a mark in the palm of your hand.
