Google opened Gemini Spark to Ultra accounts in Türkiye

Google, Gemini Spark has started to gradually open its beta version to some Google AI Ultra subscribers in Türkiye. Instead of a model option on Gemini’s standard chat screen, Spark is included in its own separate section within the application. This new field; It allows you to manage ongoing tasks, schedules and reusable work rules from a single point. Since access in Türkiye has not yet reached all eligible accounts, some Ultra subscribers can see the Spark section, while others cannot access the same option.

At the I/O event held in May 2026, Google introduced Spark as a personal artificial intelligence agent that can work 24 hours a day with the guidance of the user. The system is not content with just answering your questions, it breaks down the goal you give into steps and carries out the necessary operations in connected applications. According to Google’s statement, you do not need to keep your computer on because Spark runs on dedicated virtual machines in the cloud. Gemini 3.5 models and Google Antigravity infrastructure also enable long-running tasks to proceed in the background.

In the separate part of Spark we see three main areas of work. The Tasks field shows the tasks you gave to the agent and the progress of these tasks. The Skills section allows you to create rules for frequently repeated operations, while the Schedules section starts tasks at a certain time or when the condition you define is met. For example, you can ask Spark to check your calendar every morning, summarize your meetings, and create a task list from priority emails.

Spark; It can connect to Google services such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, YouTube and Google Maps. Connections are disabled by default, so for Spark to access your personal data, you need to allow the relevant applications through the settings. Google says that the agent does not constantly read emails indiscriminately, but only accesses relevant data in line with the task given by the user. Spark also asks for confirmation from the user before an important or irreversible operation.

Spark gains new connections and macOS support

Google expanded Spark’s application connections with the update released on June 30. The personal agent now works with Google Tasks and Keep, as well as third-party services like Canva, Dropbox, Instacart, OpenTable, and Zillow Rentals. So you can turn your Keep notes into a task list, share a file on Dropbox, or have a design prepared on Canva. It is possible that some third-party services may not fully work in Türkiye or may have regional limitations.

The same update also brought Spark to Gemini’s macOS app. Spark can organize local files you allow, classify documents in the Downloads folder, and create a Sheets table from invoices on the computer. Google is also preparing a feature that will allow a command you give from your phone to work remotely on a Mac. However, in its official announcement, the company limited the macOS beta version to the USA for the initial phase.

Spark can also provide real-time updates by tracking ever-changing topics such as news, sports and finance. This structure allows Spark to monitor the topic in the background rather than the user having to refresh the same page over and over again. When the system detects a new development, it updates the status of the task and implements the next step according to the work flow you specify. Google announced that Spark will soon work in Chrome and run tasks on the web directly from the browser.

Türkiye access surpassed official pages

Users who see the Spark section in Türkiye confirm that the regional expansion of the service has begun. A personal Google account for access, Google AI Ultra subscriptionactive Web & App Activity setting and at least be 18 years old There is a condition. Skills features with Spark currently only work in English. If you downgrade or cancel your Google AI Ultra subscription, you lose access to Spark, existing schedules will pause, and the Skills rules you created will be disabled.

However, Google’s official help pages do not yet consistently reflect the access that started in Türkiye as of July 16. While some support documentation still describes Spark as a US-only feature, the Skills support page does not list Türkiye as an excluded country. The fact that a separate Spark section started to appear in Ultra accounts in Türkiye suggests that Google started the server-side distribution before updating the help documentation. Therefore, we can say that access has started in Türkiye, but we cannot talk about the general availability, which includes all Ultra subscribers, yet.

To control Spark in the Gemini web or mobile app, you need to open the side menu and look for the separate Spark section. If this section doesn’t appear in your account, you can check that you’re using the correct Google AI Ultra account, that the app is up to date, and that you’ve turned on activity registration. If you meet these conditions but do not see the Spark domain, you need to wait for Google’s gradual distribution to reach your account. Long story short, Spark has started to come to Türkiye, but Google is expanding access on an account basis and in a controlled manner.
