Google has introduced a comprehensive update for the Quick Share Windows application

Google has released a comprehensive update for the Quick Share application running on Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. Version number 1.0.2034.4 This update allows users to change device visibility settings more quickly and easily. This operation, which could previously only be done from within the application, can now be performed directly from the taskbar. In addition, the update also attracts attention with many bug fixes and performance improvements.

This innovation in visibility settings allows users to switch their devices between “Nobody,” “Contacts,” “Your Devices,” and “Everyone.” In this way, users do not have to open the application to manage sharing settings. However, small but aesthetic touches were also made, such as adding the Quick Share logo to the application animations. The update aims not only to provide ease of use but also to improve the visual experience of the application.

Critical fixes for URL sharing and app performance

The new version also eliminates an important error during URL sharing. Previously, shared URLs were incorrectly classified as text. This issue has now been fixed and web page links are detected correctly. In addition, another bug that caused the Quick Share application to not be able to create a shortcut in the “All Apps” section of the “Start Menu” after installation has also been resolved.

Another fix was for an issue that affected the opening speed of the application. The late opening of the application after users logged in to their Windows accounts was among the factors that negatively affected the experience. With the update, this delay problem has been resolved, so the application can now be launched much faster. These performance fixes aim to improve the overall functioning of the application.

Quick Share stands out as an application that allows wireless transfer of content such as photos, videos and documents between Samsung devices and Windows computers. Users can benefit from this feature on many devices, including Galaxy Book series laptops. The application is intended to provide a seamless sharing experience for both Android and Windows users. Google’s efforts in this area are considered an important step towards increasing cross-device compatibility.

Users just need to check for updates in the app’s settings menu to get the latest update. Alternatively, the latest version can be downloaded from the official website of the application. Installing the update not only provides access to new features, but also offers the opportunity to benefit from bug fixes and performance improvements. Therefore, Quick Share users are advised to upgrade to the latest version.

It seems that Google has made the Quick Share application more functional and user-friendly with this update. The application continues to offer practical solutions for both individual users and the business world regarding wireless sharing. Quick Share is expected to be further improved with future updates.
