Google Gemini is now active in all Wear OS 4 hours

Google Gemini has reached a wider audience on the Wear OS platform. This new generation assistant, which was first shown on the Pixel Watch, has now been activated in smart watches that run all Wear OS 4 and above versions. It was announced in May, and recently, the Galaxy Watch 8 launched again. Following all these developments, users around the world can use Gemini directly from their watches.

In order to achieve this experience, users need to update the “Google Gemini on Wear OS” update through the Play Store. This update removes the existing Google Assistant application from the system and replaces it completely to Gemini. When the update is completed, the process is completed with the notification of “Gemini is now in your watch” on the clock screen. After this transition, the digital assistant experience takes on a very different structure.

Gemini can also work with the “Hey Google” command

More than one input method is offered to reach Gemini. “Hey Google” voice command, long button long press, application icon, the tile component added to the clock face, or assistant can be activated via shortcuts. With the redesigned Material You compatible interface, users can also assign two quick operations via Tile. These small but effective details make things easier in daily use.

Gemini’s biggest difference compared to Google Assistant is that it offers a much more natural spoken language support. Short, cut and artificial answers are replaced by the context and receiving answers to the subject. Moreover, these answers can be supported not only by voice but also with visuals and written explanations. The clock screen features the option to give feedback with the Lira or like keys and microphone icon below each response.

Google clearly states that Gemini can make mistakes in his answers. For this reason, it is recommended that users check every information instead of accepting it without question. Although the application is still in the development phase, the general experience is significantly separated from the previous assistant structure. Nevertheless, user continues to be effective in shaping the direction of applying feedback.

Gemini is not just a voice assistant; It also becomes a control center that can be directly integrated with Google’s other services. Google search, maps, messages, YouTube Music and Workspace applications can interact. For example, “Where is the coffee shop sent by Emily?” When asked, Gmail can reach the content of the map and give direction recipe. With such scenarios, the clock is no longer not only the notification screen, but also as a transaction center.

Reminders and memory commands are also among the powerful aspects of Gemini. He can keep even small details like “My Cabinet Number 43”. In the same way, daily tasks such as ın remind you to go to the market after work ”can easily be added to the system. This kind of uses provide attention to the convenience, especially on intense paced days.

YouTube Music can be created for user playing lists. Prepare a list for a 10 -minute run ”with commands, such as personal preferences are taken to appropriate music suggestions. The system, which works integrated with fitbit application, is able to offer instant health data to the user. Just give a voice command to ask information such as heart rate or number of steps.

Exercise tracking can also be managed with voice commands. Users can directly perform operations such as starting, pause or completing. Especially for Pixel Watch users, these features facilitate daily health tracking. Such details make the assistant experience integrated with physical activity.
