Google Gemini can now be used on Google TV; TCL QM9K Series First Supporting Model

Google, Gemini Artificial Intelligence Assistant Now Google TV brings it to the platform. The first step of this integration started with TCL’s new QM9K series televisions as of today. By the end of the year, Google TV will be available on the 4K, Walmart Onn 4K Pro and 2025 model Hisensse and TCL televisions. In this way, users will be able to carry out transactions such as voice commands, content search and information inquiry through their televisions more comprehensively.

Google recently removed the membership fee for Gemini in Chrome and announced new features. This change became part of the company’s steps to reach the artificial intelligence -based assistant to a wider audience. TCL QM9K televisions were among the first devices to experience this innovation. The screen technology used on the devices provides a more advanced imaging experience thanks to its high brightness and local dimming zones. However, on these televisions asset detection sensor is also available. The sensor makes it possible for the television to react automatically when the user approaches.

Gemini continues the features of the Google Assistant for years, but in addition, it brings free -based interactions. Users can search for movies or series with uncertain recipes, and demand summaries about the missed sections of the series they are watching. On the other hand, suggestions can be offered according to monitoring habits or popular content. These features can be used by the “Hey Google” command or through the microphone key on the control. Thus, the television is not only becoming a content monitoring tool and becomes a more comprehensive source of information.

TCL QM9K televisions are offered with Gemini with advanced features

The TCL QM9K series uses QD-Mini LED panel technology and is available with different size options. The devices include a frameless design called Zeroborder and wide monitoring angles are provided. In addition, thanks to the Halo Control system, local dimming areas are increased and brightness performance is improved. The MMWave -based MMWAVE based on the asset sensor allows the television to react faster to the user. These models were offered for sale with options starting from 65 inches to 98 inches. Pricing was announced at $ 2,999 for the smallest model in the USA.

Gemini’s integration into Google TV can be used not only for entertainment, but also for general information queries. Users can ask questions such as neden why volcanoes explode ”or“ which dessert can be made in an hour ”. Such queries are explained by text answers and at the same time relevant youtube contents are recommended. Thus, access to information via television becomes more comprehensive. However, it is stated that these features are not available at the same time in all regions and in all languages.

These developments accelerate the efforts of television manufacturers to integrate artificial intelligence -supported solutions into different models. Samsung and LG announced that they would integrate Microsoft’s Copilot assistant into new television models as part of CES 2025. Thus, it is seen that artificial intelligence -based voice assistants are not limited to telephone and computers, but also find an important usage area on television. With the spread of Google Gemini to different devices, this trend is expected to increase further in the coming period.
