George Zhao steps down as CEO of Honor

Honor CEO George Zhao announced that he is leaving his position due to health problems. This development, which was first announced by Chinese media organizations, was also confirmed by Daily Economic News. The company’s board of directors accepted Zhao’s resignation and publicly announced the change in an interim statement.

Li Jian, appointed as the new CEO, has over 20 years of experience in the mobile communications industry and is a well-known name in the technology world. Li Jian, who worked at Huawei for many years, held various senior positions in his career, which started in 2001. Li Jian, who left Huawei in 2020 and joined Honor in 2021, was last serving as Vice President and Director of the Human Resources Department.
