Galaxy Watch 8 Series will come at the old charging speed

The Galaxy Watch 8 series, which Samsung is preparing to introduce this year, appeared in the 3C certification database. This Chinese -based document confirmed that there will be LTE -related versions of both models. Although it is not surprising that Samsung continues to support LTE, the main detail in this document is about charging technology. Apparently, the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic models will be kept constant at 10W.

This information points to the same level as the Galaxy Watch 7 introduced last year. The fact that the charging speed does not increase is particularly concerned with users who need filling in a shorter time in intensive use. Looking at the general hardware features of the watches, connection options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS and NFC are maintained. However, wireless charging support is also available.

The form of the screen is maintained while the Galaxy Watch 8 case design changes

The details of the design of new models take into account user habits. The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Classic version will pass into a chassis form that resembles a rounded frame. However, the screen form will remain circular. This structure aims to offer a more modern aesthetic without disturbing the habits of users who prefer the traditional watch appearance.

In addition to all these, similarities with the design language of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which Samsung launched last year, attracts attention. The Watch 8 series is expected to adopt a visual line that is compatible with the ultra model. Although there is no big jumps on the hardware side, this renovation in the design gives the series a fresh face. On the other hand, this change is not yet known how to affect the user experience.

August is pointed out for the date when the Galaxy Watch 8 series will become official. Samsung usually announces its smart watches with its new foldable phones at the UNPACKED event at the end of summer. The Watch 8 Series, which will share the same scene as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, will be at the focus of the world of technology at the end of the summer. The approach of the promotional calendar began to increase the number of leaks.

Despite everything, the 10W charging speed may not be sufficient for some users. Especially in the field of wearable technology, where competition is heating, competing brands are directed to offer faster charging solutions. At this point, Samsung’s possibility of healing the charging time with software optimizations may be on the agenda. However, there is no concrete information on this issue except for technical documents.

The existence of LTE support in terms of hardware enables the independent use experience. Users can get calls, messaging, or maintain their internet connection without the need for smartphones. In addition, features such as location tracking thanks to GNSS systems increase functionality for users who love outdoor activities. This makes the clocks not only an accessory, but a part of everyday life.

Nevertheless, the issue of charging speed has a direct impact on the daily use performance of the watches. 10W speed can be restrictive, especially in the moments of need to recover, especially at low battery levels. This may make it compulsory to charge the clock overnight. Alternatively, Samsung’s battery life can be expected to extend the battery life through software.

There is no clear information about the health tracking features of the Galaxy Watch 8 series. However, features such as heart rate, ECG and oxygen level measurements in the previous models are expected to be preserved. In addition, new models will include software improvements such as sleep tracking and stress monitoring. Samsung continues to offer solutions that will increase user efficiency in these areas.
