Galaxy S26 Ultra will be offered with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage option

New information has emerged about the RAM and storage options of the Galaxy S26 series, which Samsung is preparing to launch early next year. According to this leak based on reliable sources, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ models will be available in the global market with two different RAM and storage configurations. There will be two different storage options for both models: 256 GB and 512 GB along with 12 GB RAM.

On the other hand, the S26 Ultra, the top model of the series, will be available to users with a wider range. It is reported that this model will be offered in three different versions with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage capacities along with 12 GB RAM in most markets. However, in some selected countries, especially in markets like China where local brands have strong competition, the 1 TB storage option will come with 16 GB RAM. It is stated that in China, Samsung has made such a choice specifically for this market, as flagship devices are generally not offered with less than 16 GB of RAM.

February is marked for the launch of the Galaxy S26 series

Although competitive conditions vary in China, Samsung is expected to continue using 12 GB RAM in the 1 TB model in other regions. It is claimed that the company, relying on its brand loyalty and its position in the global market, will continue to compete with models with 12 GB RAM instead of 16 GB RAM. This situation is considered as a reflection of the effort to optimize production costs.

In previous leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, it was also shared that LPDDR5X RAM technology would be used in all devices. It is stated that this type of RAM reaches a data transmission speed of 10.7 Gbps per second. While this promises a smoother and faster user experience, especially in areas such as multitasking, high-definition video processing and gaming performance, it also provides advantages in terms of energy efficiency.

In addition, some claims have been made regarding the launch date of the Galaxy S26 family. According to available information, Samsung’s new flagship series is expected to be announced in February 2026. This date is in line with previous Galaxy S series launches. However, the exact launch date may vary depending on Samsung’s marketing strategies in the first quarter of the year and the moves of its competitors.
