Samsung has developed for a while with the affordable new wireless headset model, the Galaxy Buds Core is preparing for promotion. The device, which is mentioned with the SM-R410 number, was previously considered as the continuation of the Galaxy Buds Fe. However, the latest certification documents reveal that the company has changed its naming strategy. This shows that a different approach is adopted in product positioning.
Galaxy Buds Core’s name was for the first time in FCC documents. This model, also seen in the Indian Standards Office (BIS) records before, reveals that Samsung is preparing for global markets. However, it is noteworthy to avoid the Fan Edition brand. This choice of the company indicates that the new model will differ from its predecessor in terms of technical and design.

Galaxy Buds Core is technically different from Galaxy Buds Fe
According to the FCC documents, Galaxy Buds Core contains 200 mAh on headphones and batteries with a capacity of 500 mAh in the charging box. These values indicate a small capacity increase compared to Galaxy Buds Fe. For this reason, longer battery life expectation comes to the agenda. However, it has not yet become clear whether or not there are features such as active noise.
Samsung used the “Core” brand in the past only on the entry -level smartphones. These devices usually had limited features and attracted attention at affordable prices. Galaxy Buds Core is thought to have a similar strategy. Therefore, it will not be a surprise that this model is presented limited in some markets.
Official visuals have not yet been shared about the design of the new model. However, according to leaks, Buds Core may have a different exterior design. Especially in the Galaxy Buds 3 series, Saplı structure can be adopted in this model. This may change both ergonomics and sound performance.
Galaxy Buds Core is expected to be introduced at the UNPacked event, which is expected to organize in July 2025. Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are expected to appear on the stage at the same event. In this way, Samsung will be renewed at the same time the high -level and entry -level product range. This can be considered as a balanced strategy in terms of marketing.
In terms of pricing, Galaxy Buds Core is expected to be positioned at a level similar to Galaxy Buds Fe. The price of the Buds Fe, which is sold in the US with a price tag of $ 99, can be approximately 3,200 TL. This calculation was made considering the current exchange rate and taxes. Of course, the official price information will only become clear with the launch.
There has not yet been an official statement on the markets where Galaxy Buds Core will be available. However, the sources suggest that the device will primarily go on sale in developing markets such as Türkiye, India and Brazil. In European and US markets, there may be limited distribution. This shows that Samsung has a regional distinction in product segmentation.
Nevertheless, Galaxy Buds Core is likely to attract attention in markets with high price sensitivity like Türkiye. It can offer an attractive option, especially for users who want to be included in the Samsung ecosystem at an affordable price. However, limited features may be a disadvantage for some users. For this reason, it is important to explain the detailed technical features together with the official promotion.
With this new model of Samsung, it is seen that it has entered the process of simplifying and restructuring the affordable product range. Leaving the Fan Edition brand and turning to the Core brand can be part of this strategy. Thus, the company aims to clarify product naming and to appeal to different user segments. How this approach will result in the long run will depend on sales performance.
