Apple’s new artificial intelligence-supported features will begin to be offered to users on October 28. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, on this date Apple plans to release iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 updates. These updates will bring Apple Intelligence features to the iPhone 16 and other Apple devices. In its statement last month, the company announced that these features would come in October, but did not give an exact date.
The first wave of Apple Intelligence features will include Writing Tools, a text editing and summarization tool, and intelligent audio recording and transcriptions for use in apps like Mail, Notes, and Pages.
In addition, the new Memories feature added to the Photos application will be a great innovation. This feature is designed as an editing tool that makes it easier to make movies with images from the gallery. In addition, another feature called Clean Up will be able to remove unwanted objects in the background from photos.
Other Apple Intelligence features will be rolled out gradually
Other notable features such as ChatGPT integration and Genmoji are expected to come with later versions of iOS 18. It is stated that these features will be gradually offered to users until the end of the year and the beginning of 2025.
