Directed by Elon Musk, Doge developed a private chat boat for state institutions in the USA

Elon Musk’s Dog (State Productivity Department) has launched a special chat boat with artificial intelligence to automate some tasks affiliated to the US Federal government. According to a news published by Wired, this new system, offered to the General Services Administration (GSA) employees, was developed to ensure that certain administrative works are carried out faster and more efficiently.

The GSA operates as an organization responsible for real estate management and information technology projects affiliated to the US federal government. According to in-house correspondence, DEGE offers various functions such as chat boat developed, e-mail drafts, preparation of speech points, text summary and software code. This system, which aims to facilitate the daily operations of GSA employees, will also be used for large data analysis.

The newly developed artificial intelligence -supported chat boat is called GSAi and gives employees the opportunity to work with three different artificial intelligence models. Using the Claude Haiku 3.5 by default, the system also provides access to Claude Sonnet 3.5 V2 and Meta Llama 3.2. In this way, users can create a more efficient working process by selecting the artificial intelligence model that suits their needs.

According to Wired, one of the most important usage areas of the chat boat will be to analyze contract and purchase data. GSA was also affected by the personnel reduction process due to the federal government’s extensive layoffs. According to a report published by NPR, more than 1,000 employees left the institution, while approximately 90 people from the technology department were dismissed. This process is expected to increase the workload in government institutions, while Dogge’s chat boat will increase productivity and help personnel to complete some administrative affairs faster.

With the commissioning of the chat boat, the employees of the institution were reminded of some rules of use. In the internal correspondence obtained by Wired, employees reported that the chat boat should not be entered into the chat boat, personally identifiable data, or non -classified sensitive information that should be kept under control.

Although the use of artificial intelligence -based systems in government institutions has the potential to accelerate business processes, it creates important question marks on privacy and data security. While the federal government’s interest in such technologies has increased, it seems likely that more state institutions will adopt similar artificial intelligence solutions in the future.

Doge will open the chat boat to more users

The GSAi chat boat, developed by Doge, is currently offered to the use of 1500 GSA employees. In the first stage, the system, which is tested with a limited group of user, is planned to be widespread in the future.
