Details of MediaTek Dimensity 8400 leaked before launch

MediaTek promises ambitious performance in the middle segment with its new generation processor Dimensity 8400, which is expected to be introduced on December 23. According to information leaked by Digital Chat Station, the detailed features of the new chipset have come to light. Dimensity 8400 aims to make a difference in its segment by making a significant leap in terms of energy efficiency and processing power.

MediaTek Dimensity 8400 is designed with TSMC’s advanced 4nm manufacturing process. This process both increases the performance of the chip and reduces energy consumption. The processor offers an innovative structure consisting of 1 Cortex-A725 core running at 3.25GHz, 3 Cortex-A725 cores running at 3.0GHz and 4 Cortex-A520 cores running at 2.1GHz. This all-core design is optimized to provide a smooth experience in both multitasking and high-performance applications.

On the graphics side, the Immortalis G720 MC7 GPU attracts attention. Running at 1.3GHz, this GPU takes the gaming and multimedia experience to the next level by offering advanced graphics processing capabilities.

According to AnTuTu testing results, Dimensity 8400 is expected to achieve a score of over 1.8 million points. This value indicates a performance well above the 1.4 million point score of its predecessor, Dimensity 8300 Ultra.

MediaTek Dimensity 8400 will come with 90W charging support

It is planned to use flat OLED panels with 1.5K resolution in devices that will feature Dimensity 8400. These displays improve the visual experience by providing images that are both sharp and vibrant. On the other hand, 90W fast charging support will allow users to charge their devices in a short time.

The Redmi Turbo 4 model is expected to be offered for sale at prices ranging from 1500 yuan (7196 TL) to 2000 yuan (9595 TL). This shows that it will offer a very attractive option in terms of price-performance. Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite processor. It is stated that these devices can be sold under the names Poco X7 and Poco F7 in global markets.
