Leaks about the OnePlus Ace 3V have been floating around for months. The common point of these leaks was that the phone would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. This information, which was just a rumor until now, was finally confirmed by a post on OnePlus’ Weibo account.
The post in question does not contain any other information other than the fact that the Ace 3V will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor at its heart. This sharing means that OnePlus’s new Nord phone will also carry the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. Ace 3V is expected to be sold outside China as Nord 4 or Nord 5.
At this point, it is worth noting that the number 4 is considered unlucky in China and therefore Chinese companies avoid including the number 4 in their products. Also, there is no official announcement for Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 yet. Qualcomm will introduce its new processor on March 18.
OnePlus Ace 3V will launch outside of China with minor changes
OnePlus Ace 2V, introduced last year, was released outside China with minor modifications and the name OnePlus Nord 3. OnePlus is not expected to change this strategy. It is estimated that new information about the international strategy will be shared after the official announcement. However, there is no clue from OnePlus yet.
According to OnePlus’ Weibo post; Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 has the same core advantages as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Two processors produced with a 4 nm design share the same architecture. Cortex-X4 again acts as the main core.
