Sony Xperia 1 VI is among the expected phones of the coming period. In previous reports, it was said that the phone would have a different screen than its predecessors and that the long-preferred 21:9 aspect ratio would be abandoned. While the screen is expected to be slightly shorter and wider, it was also stated that Sony may give up on 4K screen resolution.

It was also among the rumors that Sony might renew the camera system in its new phone. However, a new rumor indicates that this will not happen. In the posts made on Weibo, it is stated that the Xperia 1 VI will have the same camera as its predecessor.

This means that the 48-megapixel sensor will serve as the main camera on the smartphone. It is stated that a 12 megapixel telephoto camera and a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle camera will complete the system.

Sony Xperia 1 VI may improve camera experience with artificial intelligence

Although the camera hardware is the same, this does not mean that there will be no software changes. It seems likely that these software changes will provide a significant improvement in photo and video quality. However, there is no difference in terms of hardware.

Artificial intelligence-based camera improvements are also expected with the Xperia 1 VI.
