Boox brings together Android 13 and handwritten support with its new GO 7 series

Boox strengthens its presence in the Portable ENK devices market with the new GO 7 and Go Color 7 (Gen II) models. These two new devices, which work with the Android 13 operating system, offer users not only reading, but also the opportunity to make notes and drawings. However, the fact that Boox maintains the support of the Play Store provides significant flexibility in installing applications on devices. This support is a remarkable advantage, especially for users who prefer different reading applications.

The new members of the GO series come with EC ink screens of 7 -inch and asymmetrical design. The GO 7 uses EN INK Carta 1300 panel with a resolution of 300 PPI for black-and-white content. Go Color 7, on the other hand, offers 150 ppi in colorful content and 300 ppi resolution in black and white. Both devices contain physical page -turning buttons, thus providing ease of use with one hand. However, these models do not offer full resistance to water.

Boox expands handwritten support to GO 7 and Go Color 7 models.

The new GO series allows you to enter the handwriting, which supports marking and marking features on the document. However, users who want to take advantage of this feature also need to purchase the InkSense Stylus pen. This Stylus, which has a 4.096 pressure sensitivity level, can be charged over the USB-C. The price of the pen is 45.99 dollars (about 1,767 TL). This pen, which resembles Apple Pencil in terms of its design, also contains a multifunctional key on its body.

The Boox Go 7 model has been opened to the pre -order on Boox’s official website with a price tag of $ 249.99 (approximately 9.607 TL). The shipment of the device is expected to start on May 7, 2025. The price for Go Color 7 is announced as $ 279.99 (about 10.752 TL), but this model has not yet been included in the pre -order process. For this reason, you will have to wait for a while for the release of the colorful model. It should also be noted that the Stylus pen is not included in the pricing.

On the hardware side, both devices come with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage capacity. In addition, providing microSD card support allows users to expand content archives. Each device weighs only 195 grams, which is an important advantage in terms of portability, especially in long -term use. In addition, basic wireless connection features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also available.

Boox Go 7

Screen brightness and color saturation, especially the colorful model Go Color 7 is another remarkable element. However, due to the nature of E Ink display technology, watching videos on these devices or making quick visual transitions does not offer an ideal experience. However, the Go Color 7 is an attractive option for users who want to read comic books, magazines or colorful books. For users focusing on black-and-white content, Go 7 offers a sufficient solution.

Thanks to the Play Store support, the Boox Go series does not only offer a limited use of reading. Users can upload various applications to their devices such as note-taking applications, internet browsers or e-mail clients if they wish. However, it should be noted that Android applications are not always fully compatible with E InK screens. Performance limitations can be seen especially in animated or intense graphics applications.

Boox also gave importance to charging in its new models. The charging process on the USB-C allows users to use the same cable as different devices. Regarding the battery life of the devices, Boox promises a week of durability depending on the way of use. However, intensive use of screen lighting and wireless connections can shorten this time. Therefore, use scenarios directly affect the battery life.

Boox’s GO 7 and Go Color 7 models offer new options for users looking for an Android-based e-book reader. These models stand out especially for users who want to use different applications together and do not want to stay connected to a single platform. With handwriting support, wide storage capacity and light design, the GO 7 series is a remarkable alternative for those who want to combine the reading experience with digital notes. Given all this, Boox’s new devices can be an important solution for those looking for multi -purpose use.
