Asus introduced the new Zenbook A14 model at the CES 2025 event. This laptop stands out with its weight of 990 grams, which is approximately 230 grams lighter than Apple’s MacBook Air model. Its 14-inch OLED screen offers high image quality with 1920×1200 resolution and 600 nits brightness. Additionally, it provides long-term use with a battery life of up to 32 hours.
Zenbook A14 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X and X Elite processors. While these processors offer a balance of energy efficiency and performance, it is stated that there may be compatibility problems with some old Windows applications. The device is coated with ASUS’ exclusive Ceraluminum coating and has a matte and stone-like texture. This coating ensures that the device is both light and durable.
In terms of ports, the Zenbook A14 offers a variety of options, including two USB 4 Type-C, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack. In this way, users can easily connect with different devices. In addition, the hinge design of the device allows it to be opened with one hand.
The keyboard and touchpad of the device are comfortable to use, and the keys have a travel distance of 1.3 mm. It is also equipped with features such as 1080p IR camera, Dolby Atmos supported speakers and Wi-Fi 7. Zenbook A14 will be offered at prices starting from $900 with its 16 GB RAM and Snapdragon X Plus processor model. The lighter 990 gram model will be sold for $ 1,100 with the Snapdragon X Elite processor and 32 GB RAM.
