Apple will introduce a 35-minute iPad at the May 2024 event

Apple will hold its first 2024 product event called 'Let Loose' on Tuesday, May 7. At this event, the company will introduce the new generation iPad Pro and iPad Air models. While the new iPad Pro models will come with OLED displays, a thinner case and M4 chip, the iPad Air will have a 12.9-inch screen for the first time.

What to expect at Apple's May 2024 event?

According to the information provided by Mark Gurman on Sunday, Apple will introduce all of these with a video presentation of approximately 35 minutes. This duration is similar to the duration of the presentation at the 'Spooky Fast' event held in October 2023. The short and concise format of the event will allow us to quickly take a look at the features of the products to be introduced.

In addition to the new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, Apple will also introduce new generations of Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil products. In particular, Apple Pencil will attract attention by offering features such as new squeezing gestures and haptic feedback.

The iPad Pro's switch to the M4 chip will highlight Apple's advantages in artificial intelligence. This chip will provide minor increases in CPU and GPU performance. However, we will have to wait for WWDC in June to see the artificial intelligence features that Apple will integrate into its system.

The May event, unusually, will start at 17.00 Turkish time. Normally, we are used to Apple events starting at 20.00 CET. The company may be trying this early start time to get a more convenient viewing time for European and Asian time zones.
