Apple rolled up its sleeves and started working on iOS 19

Apple announced iOS 18 last month at WWDC 2024. With iOS 18, users will be offered innovations such as new home screen features and Apple Intelligence. Apple, which continues to work on the final version of iOS 18, has also started preparations for iOS 19. Along with iOS 19, the company has also rolled up its sleeves for macOS 16, watchOS 12 and visionOS 3 platforms.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in the latest issue of his Power On newsletter that Apple has begun preparations for its 2025 operating systems. Although it is thought that the company is taking early action, Gurman said that Apple has been following the same calendar for years.

Apple is developing iOS 19 under the code name “Luck”

iOS 19 is being developed with the code name “Luck.” macOS 16 is being developed with the code name “Cheer.” watchOS 12 is being developed with the code name “Nepali,” while visionOS 3 is being developed with the code name “Discovery.”

New information about Apple’s iOS 19 and other operating systems is expected to come to light in the coming period. However, it would not be a surprise if clearer news about the 2024 versions comes before that.
