Apple, quietly raised iPhone prices in Türkiye

Apple went to a new price update in Türkiye. The fluctuations of exchange rate fluctuations, especially the harsh rises on the dollar and euro front, were directly reflected in product prices. The most affected by this increase is the iPhone models at the beginning of the product group. Prices are now much higher than the new list.

The price of the iPhone 16, which was 64.999 TL in the previous period, is now determined as 69.999 TL. iPhone 16 Plus seems to have increased from 73.999 TL to 79.999 TL. The starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro is now at 89.999 TL. The top model, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, is offered with a high tag of 109.999 TL.

The iPhone 16e model, which was later added to the iPhone 16 series, rose from 47.999 TL to 49.999 TL with these hikes. Apple’s pricing line is now defined by this model. Although it is more suitable than other models, the increase in the price is remarkable. Despite everything, this model is still the most accessible option for users who want to step into the Apple ecosystem.

With these hikes, Apple has made an increase of 4 to 10 percent in iPhone models. These rates show that the cost prints in the supply chain as well as the exchange rate effect are reflected in prices. Particularly in the Turkish market, the direct exchange rate change of prices leads to inevitable hikes. However, these increases can seriously affect consumers’ preferences.

Hike is not limited to iPhone prices

In addition to all these, price increases were not limited to iPhones. Apple Watch Models, which are included in the category of wearable technology products, were also included in the new pricing. Watch Series 10 is now on sale from 19,999 TL, while the Watch Ultra 2 model has a price tag of 55.999 TL. These two models are seen to increase compared to previous prices.

There is no change in prices in Mac and iPad categories. However, if the exchange rate continues to move in this way, similar hikes can be expected to come to these product groups. Price tracking for technology users in Türkiye is now almost compulsory. However, many users are turning to alternative solutions because of these prices.

While some users prefer the method of bringing products from abroad, some are turning to more affordable devices in the second -hand market. This causes zero device sales to be affected in the domestic market. Although the demand for Apple products remains constant, an important threshold has been formed in accessing. The Turkish Market has a carefully monitored position in global Apple policies.
