Oppo Reno 14 series began to show itself in performance tests days before the launch date. The PLA110 code number, which is estimated to be one of the models in the series, was displayed in the Geekbench database. This record has revealed many details of Reno 14’s processor preference and software version. Some hardware features of the device are similar to Reno 13 last year.
According to the list, Reno 14 has a Dimensity 8350 chipset developed by MediaTek. The processor has a main nucleus running at the 3.35 GHz frequency, three performance core working at 3.20 GHz and four efficiency core working at 2.20 GHz. This configuration is similar to the Dimensity 8300 but with different optimizations. In particular, the Star Speed Engine performance engine makes this processor more fluent in game and user interface transitions.
Oppo Reno 14 tested with 16 GB of RAM
Another element in the tests is that the device has a capacity of 16 GB of RAM. The amount of memory at this level seems to promote a high -level experience in multi -task performance. However, it is stated that Android 15 is used as an operating system. This version of Oppo is estimated to offer with the Coloros 15 interface.
The scores of Reno 14 in the test results are also remarkable. It is seen that the single core test achieves 1215 points and 3077 points in the multi -core test. These points suggest that the device can be positioned in the mid-upper segment. Although these scores do not reflect the final performance one by one, it gives an idea about the general picture.
It is claimed that a 6.59 -inch OLED LTPS panel will be used on the screen side of the device. The screen is claimed to work at 1.5K resolution and 120Hz renewal speed. These technical values can offer an important balance in terms of fluent visual experience and energy efficiency. It is not yet clear whether this screen will provide HDR support.
Information about the camera features also strengthens the model’s claim. On the front of Reno 14, there will be a 50 megapixel resolution camera. It is stated that the triple camera system with telephoto supported on the back will be included. This installation seems to offer a wide range of uses from daily photography to portrait.
The ambitious values are also discussed on the battery side. Reno 14 will come with a battery with a capacity of approximately 6,000 mAh, and in addition, 80W will offer fast charging support. These values may meet the expectations of users in terms of charging continuity in daily use. Especially fast charging time can provide advantage in intensive use scenarios.
Oppo plans to diversify storage options in Reno 14. The device is expected to be available with 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB. Such a wide range is important in terms of addressing different user profiles. It is not yet known whether the storage type will be UFS 3.1 or 4.0.
Reno 14’s color options were also announced. The device will come in three different colors: Mermaid White, Reef Black and Sumerian Green. These colors are likely to arouse interest especially among the younger user. Oppo’s designing understanding shows that it targets users who care about visuality.
The Chinese launch of the Reno 14 series will be held on May 15th. It is not yet announced when the launching models will be offered to the global market. However, when we look at the calendars in the past years, international sales can be expected to start in the middle of the summer.
