A new ringtone was discovered in iOS 26 beta version

With Apple’s iOS 26 update, it is on the agenda that it offers a new option in the choice of bell sound.

iPhone users have been using the default bell sounds offered by Apple for years. Especially the classic bell sound on the first generation iPhones, symbolizes the smartphone habits of a period. The change, which started with the Marimba style that came in 2013, continued with the iPhone X in 2017. Lastly, a small update was made in 2023. However, since then, a new assumed sound has not been added.

A new discovery indicates that Apple can break this silence with iOS 26. A developer with a 8810CFW user on the X platform said that he found a new ringtone file called “Reflection ında in the iOS 26 beta 1 version. It is reported that the file in question is currently only in the iOS 26 beta system and there is no MacOS Tahoe preview structure. This strengthens the possibility that Apple might be hiding the new bell sound to the following beta versions.

Apple significantly redesign the user interface with iOS 26. Within the framework of this new design concept, called “Liquid Glass ,, icons, fonts, system menus and buttons are renewed from top to bottom. It is not surprising that voice warnings have been reviewed in an update where the visual change is made so comprehensive. The sound of the new bell can be part of this design integrity.

New bell sound is shaped with iOS 26’s general user experience

Apple’s user habits with sounds, as in the past, continues to influence today. The ring sound in the first iPhone models became a brand element over time. The company’s fact that the company has not intervened in the sound design so far has been seen as a deficiency by some users. With the “Reflection”, it seems likely to make a new start in this field.

Of course, many users use their phones in vibration, but the new ringtone may not create a major change in everyday experience. However, such audio warnings are known to have a direct effect for users who remain in the first installation or default settings of the device. Apple offers a fresh and up -to -date sound choice at this point, a noticeable update for large audiences using the system.

It is not yet clear whether the new bell will be permanent. From time to time in iOS beta versions, the features that are for test purposes will not be included in the final version. Therefore, it will be announced in the following weeks whether the “Reflection” sound will be included in the end -user version of iOS 26. Apple is expected to release a new beta update at the beginning of next week.

iOS 26 is planned to be available to all users in autumn. In this process, both sound and visual interfaces can occur more innovation. Apple continues to focus on different fields in each update by introducing these innovations on the software side.
