A new processor for medium segment phones from MediaTek: Dimensity 6400 introduced

MediaTek introduced the new chipset name of Dimensity 6400. This new chipset offers small but remarkable improvements compared to its predecessor Dimensity 6300. In particular, a slight improvement in performance is aimed at performance with a speed increase of 0.1 GHz in the main processor nucleus. However, general architecture and features are largely similar to previous models.

The Dimensity 6400 is produced by the 6NM production process of TSMC, with an eight-core CPU structure: two Cortex-A76 cores running at a speed of 2.5 GHz and six Cortex-A55 core running at 2.0 GHz. ARM Mali-G57 MC2 was preferred as a graphic process unit. This structure aims to provide enough performance for mid -segment smartphones.

For memory and storage, the chipset offers LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage support up to 2133 MHz. As a screen support, it supports screens up to 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120 Hz renewal speed. The image signal processor (ISP) is compatible with camera sensors up to 108 megapixels and offers 16 MP + 16 MP for dual camera installation. Connection features include 5G Release 16 modem, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.2, which can offer download speeds up to 3.3 GBPS.

Another remarkable feature of Dimensity 6400 is the 3GPP release-16 compatible 5G modem. This modem supports the latest connection improvements of operators around the world, allowing device manufacturers to appeal to global markets with a single smartphone design. It also offers 5G download speeds up to 3.3 GBPS with the support of spectrum up to 140 MHz. Thanks to MediaTek’s 5G Ultrasave 3.0+ technology, more than 13 to 30 percent productivity is achieved in power consumption. These features aim for users to experience a faster and more energy -efficient 5G experience.

MediaTek Dimensity 6400 will first be used in Realme P3X 5G

One of the devices that Dimensity 6400 will be used for the first time will be the P3X 5G model that Realme will soon introduce. This model, which is planned to be introduced in India on 18 February 2025, will have a thin design of 7.94 mm thickness and three different color options: night blue, star pink and moon silver. Night blue and star pink models will have vegan leather rear panels that offer a luxurious feeling. The screen of the device will offer 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution and 120 Hz renewal speed with 6.67 -inch IPS LCD technology. These features aim to provide users with a fluent and clear image experience.

Realme P3X 5G, 6000 mAh battery and 45W fast charging support will offer long -term use and fast charging. At the back of the device, a dual camera installation of 50 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor will be installed. Although the front camera resolution has not yet been announced, the general camera performance of the device is expected to satisfy mid -segment users. As storage options, different variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage will be offered. In addition, the storage capacity can be increased by a hybrid home up to 2 TB.

Realme P3X 5G is expected to be available in the Indian market with a starting price of 22,990 rupees (approximately 9558 TL). The device will be available on the official website of Flipkart and Realme. There has not yet been an official statement about sales plans and pricing in other markets.
