Turkish founders’ Stoa startup connects GPU buyers with verified suppliers

Founded by Turkish entrepreneurs, Stoa brings together companies looking to buy GPUs in a marketplace that collects price quotes from verified suppliers. As the need for hardware for data center infrastructure grows, the initiative collects transactions ranging from purchase request to delivery and inspection in a single flow. In addition, the platform aims to compare offers along with the condition of the hardware and delivery conditions.

The startup’s Y Combinator profile lists Stoa among companies in its summer 2026 program. The San Francisco-based company was founded by Berat Çelik, Eren Berke Sağlam and Kaan Yiğit. Çelik is the CEO, Sağlam is the CFO and Yiğit is the CTO; The profile states that the team consists of three people.

Stoa explains in the same profile that it received over $300 million in quote requests in its first month. However, this amount does not represent completed sales or revenue earned by the company. The data shared by the startup represents the total value of the demands made by buyers on the platform.

The founding team’s experience combines financial and energy infrastructure with technical development. According to his Y Combinator profile, Çelik studied at UBC and Cornell and worked at xAI. In addition to his Dartmouth education, Sağlam shares his finance experience at Citi; Yiğit, on the other hand, undertakes technical development with his UIUC and Uniper background. The startup uses this knowledge to collect buyers’ transaction conditions and suppliers’ stock information in the same place.

Buyers start the process by specifying the model, quantity, location and delivery time of the hardware they need. It can also add new, refurbished or used product preferences to the demand. Stoa samples Nvidia hardware like the H100, H200, and B300 in its profile; It aims to collect offers from matching suppliers within 48 hours.

The meaning of the offer is not determined only by the product name. Condition, quantity, stock location and delivery time may create different commercial conditions for the same GPU. Therefore, the platform adds these details to the buyer’s request and tries to move the comparison to the same purchase scope.

Stoa adds delivery and product inspection to workflow

The official page of the platform lists the payment, shipment, delivery and review stages after the evaluation and acceptance of the offers. In addition, transaction tracking ensures that the buyer and supplier see the same timeline. The initiative aims to transform requesting quotes from separate email correspondence into a trackable purchasing process.

Stoa also plans to provide a combination of market data, price context and hardware supply signals. On the other hand, the sample transaction amounts on the home page do not create verified records that can be used as real-time market prices. Therefore, we should not infer the current sales price or price change of a particular GPU from these examples.

The startup’s focus extends to trading physical hardware rather than renting hourly processing power via the cloud. The buyer’s determination of product condition, shipping and post-delivery inspection conditions also reveals this difference. The company does not yet disclose a single commission tariff for all transactions or a service schedule specific to Türkiye on its public pages.
