Roborock shared the details of the new wet and dry cleaning model on the Türkiye page of F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2. Expanding the F25 family offered in Türkiye, the device combines steam cleaning with hot water wiping function. In addition, motor-supported wheels, edge cleaning arm and horizontally descending body diversify the usage options.
The VaporFlow 2.0 system switches from normal steam mode to turbo steam mode when the trigger is pressed. Roborock announces 5,000 mg of vapor output per minute in turbo mode, which is 2.5 times the 2,000 mg level of the previous F25 Ultra. This comparison is based on the company’s own measurement conditions.
It is necessary to read the 180 degrees in the technical information together with the measurement point. Roborock measures this temperature at the internal heater outlet, not on the floor or at the steam outlet outside the device. In addition, 30-second steam preparation refers to the hot start condition, where the device waits three minutes after the previous steam operation and starts again.
The WaveFlow system cleans along the roller brush with 90-degree hot water. In addition, the device offers 25,000 Pa suction power, 33 N downward pressure and 450 brush rotations per minute. With these mechanisms, the manufacturer aims to collect dry debris and liquid debris in the same cleaning flow.
F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 varies runtime by mode
Roborock’s announced run time of up to 100 minutes is based on its testing with economy suction setting in automatic mode. In vapor mode, the company reports up to 30 minutes of battery life. Therefore, it is not right to talk about a device that continues steam cleaning for 100 minutes without interruption.
The motorized arm called SensEdge lifts up when pushing forward and helps collect residual water on the ground when pushing back. In controlled tests, Roborock provides cleaning distances approaching zero millimeters on three sides. On the other hand, this value does not guarantee the same result in every baseboard shape or all surface conditions.
SlideTech 2.0 aims to facilitate pushing and pulling the device by providing support to the wheels with two brushless motors. In addition, the body can be positioned 180 degrees horizontally and can reach gaps of 12.5 centimeters. This structure reduces the vertical usage limit of the device while cleaning under furniture of appropriate height.
The station washes and dries the roller brush after cleaning. Roborock describes five minutes for quick drying and 30 minutes for quiet drying. The quiet mode’s noise figure of 45 dB(A) is also based on manufacturer’s testing; It does not show the volume level of all operating modes of the device.
Roborock also explains the TÜV SÜD test on wooden floor safety. In the test shared by the company, the device showed no visible swelling, scratches or discoloration after 18,000 back-and-forth movements on a hard wood surface. However, the results obtained from a specific test surface should not be transferred to all parquet coverings, joint structures and usage conditions. The floor manufacturer’s maintenance instructions regarding the use of hot water and steam are of particular importance for the surface in the house.
The body of the device has dimensions of 265 × 250 × 1,100 mm; The area covered by the station is 316 × 353 × 1,165 mm. Thus, it is not enough to evaluate the storage space only based on the slim body of the vacuum cleaner. Additionally, the removable separation module separates solid waste from dirty water; Roborock asks to clean the dirty water tank after each use.
The dirt detection system automatically adjusts the suction power and water flow. It is also possible to personalize cleaning settings and program washing and drying processes through the application. The Türkiye product page explains these technical specifications, but there is no exact Türkiye sales price on the page.
