Samsung Galaxy S26 FE features become clear before it is introduced

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE model, which has not yet become official, appeared in the Google Play Console database after it was recently seen in FCC records. The listing confirms some of the key specifications of the phone, which were leaked in detail last week. Accordingly, Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor will be used in the Galaxy S26 FE and the phone will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. Along with the Galaxy S26 FE, there are also registrations for the more affordable Galaxy A08 and Galaxy A07s models in the Google Play Console. Thus, information about the three phones that Samsung will place in different price ranges has become a little more clear.

The processor information of the Galaxy S26 FE, recorded with the model number SM-S741U, is stated as S5E9955 in the list. This code corresponds to Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset and matches the information in previous leaks. According to the Google Play Console record, the device has 8 GB of RAM and the screen resolution will be 1080 x 2340 pixels. The database also includes an image showing the front and back design of the phone; Rendered images previously posted on the internet showed the design of the device and its different color options in more detail. Despite this, Samsung has not yet made an official statement about when the Galaxy S26 FE will be introduced.

Galaxy S26 FE will come with Exynos 2500, while Galaxy A08 and A07s will use Helio G99

Galaxy A08, one of the other models seen on Google Play Console, carries the model number SM-A085F. In the processor section of the phone, there is the code MT6789V/CD, and this code indicates the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Helio G99, which only supports LTE connection, is not a completely new choice for Samsung; The same processor is also used in the Galaxy A07 4G. In addition, there is information that the chipset will also be used in the Galaxy A18 4G, which has not been announced yet. Therefore, the Galaxy A08 should not be expected to offer a big performance jump compared to the previous model, especially on the processor side.

One of the more notable details in the Galaxy A08 listing is its RAM capacity. Google Play Console information shows that the phone may have up to 8 GB RAM option. The previous Galaxy A07 also had an 8 GB RAM option, so the capacity itself is not unusual for Samsung’s product family. However, the change in memory costs and the fact that entry-level phones are in a more price-sensitive position make it more meaningful in which markets and at what price the 8 GB option will be offered. It is not clear from the current Google Play Console record whether Samsung is preparing Galaxy A08 versions with lower RAM capacities.

Galaxy A07s is listed with the model number SM-A077M and uses the MediaTek Helio G99 processor like the Galaxy A08. One of the obvious differences between the two devices emerges on the memory side; Galaxy A07s registration includes 4 GB RAM information. In addition, a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels is specified for both the Galaxy A08 and Galaxy A07s. This resolution does not seem surprising, considering the affordable price-oriented position of the Galaxy A0 series. Users who want a higher screen resolution may need to turn to models that will be positioned a little higher in Samsung’s product range, such as the Galaxy A18.

Although Google Play Console records show that the devices are progressing in compatibility with the Android ecosystem, they do not reveal the exact launch date on their own. Last year, the Galaxy A07 4G was announced towards the end of August; Therefore, it seems likely that an official announcement will be made for the Galaxy A08 soon. The Galaxy S25 FE was introduced in September last year, and if Samsung follows a similar schedule, it may be necessary to wait a little longer for the Galaxy S26 FE. On the other hand, the fact that the Galaxy S26 FE has started to appear in different certification and registration processes such as FCC and Google Play Console shows that the technical structure of the device has been largely finalized. The information that has emerged so far shows that Exynos 2500 and 8 GB RAM will stand out in the Galaxy S26 FE, and on the Galaxy A08 and Galaxy A07s side, Samsung will continue to prefer the Helio G99 platform it has previously used in order to keep the cost under control.
