Samsung’s One UI 9 work accelerated, new devices were added to the list

Samsung’s work on its new Android-based interface, One UI 9, continues to expand its scope. The company recently released the third One UI 9 beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. Although only the Galaxy S26 family is currently included in the official beta program, it appears that Samsung is continuing One UI 9 tests on different Galaxy models. Latest information shows that the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy A56, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series have also been included in the company’s internal testing process.

New versions appearing on Samsung’s software development servers indicate that preparations are continuing to deliver the update to a wider range of devices. Previously, information had emerged that One UI 9 tests had started for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy A16 5G, Galaxy A17 5G, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A57 and the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S26 FE. Thus, it appears that the company is carrying out a parallel development process for both flagship and mid-segment devices.

One UI 9 software detected for Galaxy Z Fold7, Samsung’s most current foldable phone model F966USQUACZF3 It bears the firmware number. In addition, the test version prepared for the Galaxy A56 A566BXXUBDZFBthe version prepared for Galaxy S23 is S911BXXUAGZF9 Listed by code. Such version numbers reveal that the update is being actively developed within the company and efforts to adapt it to different devices are ongoing.

One UI 9 preparations are gaining momentum in the Galaxy ecosystem

The inclusion of the Galaxy S24 series in One UI 9 tests is among the notable developments. Samsung usually starts preparations for new Android versions months in advance and conducts simultaneous tests on different device groups. This approach helps detect compatibility and performance issues that may be encountered during the update distribution process at an early stage. However, it should also be noted that the versions seen in the testing phase do not represent the final software that will be offered to the end user.

One UI 9 is expected to be built on the new version of Android. Samsung has not yet announced all the innovations that the update will bring. Despite this, it is estimated that smoother system animations, advanced privacy options, improvements in some artificial intelligence-supported functions and various optimizations throughout the interface are on the agenda. The company is among the manufacturers that have moved faster than its competitors regarding software updates in recent years.

On the other hand, the fact that internal tests have started does not mean that the relevant models will be included in the beta program in a short time. Samsung usually completes closed testing processes first and then rolls out public beta versions in select markets. Therefore, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy A56, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series users may have to wait a while longer for the official beta versions.

The fact that the company started testing its devices in different segments at the same time shows that preparations are continuing to deliver the One UI 9 update to a wide range of Galaxy users. While the emergence of test versions indicates that development work is progressing as planned, official statements from Samsung will be decisive regarding the final features of the update and its distribution schedule.
