While the device, which was introduced last year, has so far been sold with 12 GB RAM, the company has added a new option to its product range offering 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
The new model is listed in India with a price tag of 61,999 rupees. At the current exchange rate, this figure corresponds to approximately 657 US dollars. Other options sold in OnePlus’ official online store are 54,999 rupees for the version with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and 59,999 rupees for the version with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
The fact that the company offers a new memory option stands out as a remarkable development. In recent months, evaluations have come to the fore that there may be an increase in RAM prices due to the increased demand for high-capacity memory, especially in artificial intelligence-focused data centers. Despite this, OnePlus chose to add a version with higher memory capacity to its existing model.
There are no changes in the other technical features of OnePlus 15R. The device continues to retain hardware components aimed at upper segment users. Higher RAM capacity can provide greater flexibility, especially in multitasking, intense gaming experiences and artificial intelligence-supported applications.
