OnePlus shared new information about the Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro models, which it recently confirmed will be introduced in China. The company officially announced the design, color options, memory configurations and some basic specifications of both phones. Thus, the important details of the upcoming mid-segment smartphone series became clear before the launch.
The new models started to be listed on OnePlus’ official online store in China. In addition, OnePlus China President Louis Li Jie announced that the Turbo 6X series will be introduced next week. However, the company has not yet shared the exact launch date. Despite this, the opening of official store pages indicates that the introduction of the devices is very close.
The standard model, OnePlus Turbo 6X, will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Super processor. One of the striking features of the device will be its 7,000 mAh capacity battery. It has been confirmed that an LCD panel is preferred on the screen side of the smartphone. Although AMOLED screens have become widespread in the middle segment in recent years, it seems that the preference for LCD screens continues due to large battery capacity and cost balance.

According to the information shared by OnePlus, the Turbo 6X model will be offered in three different color options: black, green and white. On the memory side, there will be 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage options. These configurations aim to address different budget and usage needs.
OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro, the top model of the series, will offer some additional advantages on the hardware side. MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super chipset will be used in the device. In addition, the battery capacity has been increased to 8,000 mAh. With the influence of high-capacity silicon-carbon battery technologies that are increasingly widespread in the smartphone market, it seems that battery capacity can be increased while preserving thinner body structures.
Turbo 6X Pro, which differs from the standard model on the screen side, will come with a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel.
