Vivo quietly announced the V70 Lite model, the new member of the V series. While the smartphone, which is on sale in the United Arab Emirates, has largely similar features to its predecessor, it brings MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor as the most striking innovation. While there are no significant changes on the design and basic hardware side, the company seems to have offered a small but measurable update on the performance side.
The Dimensity 7400 Turbo in the new model replaces the Dimensity 7360 used in last year’s V60 Lite model. The two chipsets have very similar features in technical terms. The main difference between them emerges in the operating frequency of the performance-oriented ARM Cortex-A78 cores. While these cores ran at 2.6 GHz in the Dimensity 7400 Turbo, this value was at 2.5 GHz in the Dimensity 7360. In addition, the device has 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
On the screen side of the phone, a familiar structure from the previous model is preserved. Vivo V70 Lite comes with a 6.77 inch AMOLED screen. Offering Full HD + resolution, the panel supports 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition, the peak brightness value of the screen reaches 3,000 nits. While there is a 32-megapixel resolution selfie camera inside the perforated screen design on the front, the optical fingerprint reader is also integrated under the screen.
Vivo V70 Lite draws attention with its camera and battery features
The rear camera system also maintains the structure of the previous generation. The main camera includes a camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, 50 megapixel resolution and f / 1.8 aperture. This sensor is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Although there is no comprehensive innovation on the camera side, the current hardware offers a sufficient structure for daily use and social media-oriented content production.
No changes have been made on the battery capacity side either. The device has a large battery with a capacity of 6,500 mAh. In addition, 90W wired fast charging support is offered. This combination creates a remarkable advantage for users looking for long battery life, especially in intensive usage scenarios. Considering that many competitors in the middle segment still offer lower charging speeds, 90W support can be considered one of the standout features of the device.
On the software side, Vivo prefers the OriginOS 6 interface based on Android 16. Thus, the device comes out of the box with the current Android version. In addition, it is stated that the new interface version offers performance optimizations and various customization options.
Vivo V70 Lite is available in two different color options: black and gold. On the pricing side, the sales price of the version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage in the United Arab Emirates was announced as AED 1,099. The top model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage carries a price tag of 1,299 AED (approximately 16,290 TL).
