Two new G-Shock watches coming from Casio and XG

Casio released two new G-Shock models with the pop group XG. On June 12, 2026 He announced that he would put it on sale in Japan. The GM-S5600XG and GMA-S110XG arrive as the group’s first exclusive collaboration watches for G-Shock. Product pages that briefly appeared on Casio’s US site were taken down, but the Japanese announcement clarified the launch date and prices. This series specifically targets collectible G-Shock users and XG fans.

Casio, square case GM-S5600XG for 36,300 yenanalog-digital GMA-S110XG for 25,300 yen set the price. At the current exchange rate, these tags correspond to approximately $228 and $158. There is no official statement yet for the Türkiye price, so exchange rate, tax and limited stock effects in local distribution may move the price significantly above the Japan label. Considering that G-Shock still has a strong niche audience in Türkiye, it is not surprising that these models are in rapid demand in import channels.

GM-S5600XG interprets the 5600 line, inherited from the first model of G-Shock, with a more special surface. A rainbow vapor deposition coating is used on the glass of the watch, and according to Casio, the color transition in each watch varies slightly. The black resin strap, black frame and stainless steel cover keep the color screen effect in a more controlled line. There is the XG logo on the dial, strap loop and case back.

GMA-S110XG, on the other hand, takes the more voluminous 110 series to a different place with its pink marble patterned body. Casio uses the Garal color molding technique, which mixes different colors of resin in the strap and bezel. This technique creates a different pattern every hour. The polarized dial also changes color according to the wrist angle, strengthening the model’s approach to stage aesthetics.

What differences do the two Casio G-Shock XG models offer?

While the GM-S5600XG appeals to those who want a simpler, square and digital G-Shock, the GMA-S110XG offers an option with a higher visual impact with its larger, pink and analog-digital structure. The fact that Casio continues to use biobased resin in both models shows that the brand updates its material preference even in special series productions. To be honest, these two watches gain meaning with their production technique and pop culture partnership rather than technological innovation. XG becoming the G-Shock global ambassador in July 2025 also takes this launch beyond a one-off logo effort. If an official sales announcement is made in Türkiye, the perception of limited production and Japanese prices may accelerate the decision of collectors.
