Following the Y600 Pro model that it announced in China last month, Vivo has now introduced its new smartphone called Y600 Turbo. The new model, which the company positions in the middle segment, draws attention especially with its high battery capacity. While the device has a large battery with a capacity of 9,020 mAh, it is accompanied by 90W fast charging support. Thus, Vivo continues to strengthen its position among manufacturers who have recently turned to higher battery capacity in mobile devices. The phone is currently available for sale in China.
The new model has a 6.83 inch AMOLED screen on the front. While this panel offers 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, Vivo states that the highest brightness level of the screen can reach 5,000 nits. This panel, which aims to increase visibility in daylight, promises a smoother use, especially in video consumption and gaming experience. In addition, the thin frame structure and the fingerprint reader placed inside the screen support the modern design line of the device.
On the hardware side of the phone, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor is included. This processor is accompanied by up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. Positioned in the middle-upper segment, the processor aims to offer a balanced structure in multitasking performance as well as daily use. Despite this, it is noteworthy that LPDDR4X memory is preferred instead of LPDDR5 in the device. Still, UFS 3.1 storage support can provide advantages in terms of application opening speeds and data transfer.
Vivo Y600 Turbo stands out with its high battery capacity
The most striking aspect of Vivo Y600 Turbo is its large battery. The battery with a capacity of 9,020 mAh offers a value almost twice that of many smartphones today. In addition, the fact that the device comes with 90W wired fast charging support aims to reduce the possible disadvantage of high capacity on charging time. Recently, especially with Chinese manufacturers turning to silicon-carbon battery technologies, larger battery capacities have begun to be offered in thinner bodies. Vivo’s new model also shows that this trend continues.
On the camera side, a simpler structure has been preferred. There is a dual camera system on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a selfie camera with 8 megapixel resolution. Technical specifications show that the device focuses more on daily use needs in terms of camera. Despite this, the high-resolution main sensor is expected to provide satisfactory results in sufficient light conditions.
On the durability side, IP68 and IP69 certifications stand out. These certifications show that the device offers certain levels of protection against water and dust. In addition, the phone also includes connection features such as 5G support, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, infrared transmitter and GPS. On the software side, the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 interface is used.

The starting price of Vivo Y600 Turbo in China was announced as 2,299 yuan (15,550 TL) for the version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The model offering 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage carries a price tag of 2,599 yuan (17,580 TL), while the upper version with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity carries a price tag of 2,899 (19,605 TL) yuan. Device; It is available in three different color options: Sand Gold, Electric Blue and Millennium Pink. For now, there is no official statement about entering the global market.
