Apple is preparing artificial intelligence features that will change the iPhone experience with iOS 27

While evaluations continue that the company cannot keep up with its competitors in the Android ecosystem, especially in productive artificial intelligence, new information shared by Bloomberg shows that more visible innovations will come in this field with iOS 27. According to the information provided, Apple aims to make the “Writing Tools” features currently included in iOS 26 more accessible and highlight them in daily use. In addition, it is stated that new tools such as Siri integration, spell check and artificial intelligence-supported shortcut creation will be among the important parts of the system.

According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to move the current Writing Tools experience directly to the center of keyboard use, rather than a feature that remains within just a few menus. It is stated that the company may add a new button called “Write with Siri” at the top of the on-screen keyboard. In addition, the “Help Me Write” option is expected to appear when the user activates Siri and selects a text field. In this way, it is aimed for iPhone and iPad users to have faster access to spelling assistance tools. In this way, it is aimed to reduce access complexity, which is one of the most criticized points in the artificial intelligence features Apple has offered so far.

On the other hand, it is also stated that the company is working on a new grammar checking system. It is reported that the feature in question will display the suggested corrections during writing in a translucent menu rising from the bottom of the screen. It is planned that users will be able to accept, ignore or reject each suggestion individually. This approach can deliver an experience similar to how third-party writing tools like Grammarly and QuillBot work. However, it is not yet known to what extent Apple will support this system with advanced artificial intelligence models. It is estimated that some processes will continue to be run on the device due to the company’s privacy-focused approach.

Siri and shortcuts may become more functional with iOS 27

It is stated that innovations in artificial intelligence will not be limited only to Writing Tools. According to the information in the news, Apple is preparing a new system supported by productive artificial intelligence for the Shortcuts application. It is stated that thanks to this system, users can create new shortcuts using natural language. In other words, users will be able to prepare automation by describing the action they want to perform, instead of determining the technical steps one by one. Especially considering that the current Shortcuts application, although powerful, has difficulty reaching a wide user base due to its complex structure, this change can seriously simplify the usage experience.

It is reported that Apple plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence on the wallpaper creation side. Accordingly, with iOS 27, users will be able to create new wallpapers via the Image Playground application. The Image Playground application, introduced by Apple last year, was considered a more entertainment-oriented visual production tool. However, the capabilities of the application are expected to be increased with the new version. In addition, Apple’s improvement of visual production quality will be among the determining factors in terms of user experience.

When Apple Intelligence features were first announced, it was expected to increase the company’s competitiveness in the field of artificial intelligence.
