Honor is now preparing to launch the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro models, which it introduced in global markets last month, with a different design and larger batteries in China. While new information emerges about the versions specific to China, an interesting accessory stated to be developed for the devices also attracts attention. According to leaks, Honor is working on a removable second screen that can be magnetically attached to the back of the phones. It is stated that this accessory will not only offer an additional viewing area but also support different usage scenarios.
According to the information shared by Chinese leak source Fixed Focus Digital, the second screen in question is attached to the back panel of the phone via a magnetic connection. In the blurry image shared, it can be seen that the accessory is positioned at the back of the device. Allegedly, this screen can work as a remote camera control device. In addition, it is expected to serve as a fill light and be used as a small preview screen during photo transfer. It is stated that additional functions such as wallpaper or notification display may also be among the usage areas of the accessory.
It seems that Honor has recently turned to different usage scenarios on the accessory side. Solutions specifically aimed at improving the mobile photography experience have become more prominent among Android manufacturers. Despite this, it is not yet clear whether this accessory, allegedly developed by Honor, will turn into a commercial product. Battery capacity draws attention in the Chinese versions of the Honor 600 series
The global versions of Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro are positioned between the upper-middle and upper segment on the technical specifications side. Both models have a 6.57 inch AMOLED screen. Screens with 120 Hz refresh rate come with high brightness values. While the standard Honor 600 model uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, the Honor 600 Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.
On the camera side, Honor 600 has a 200 megapixel main camera and a 50 megapixel front camera. The Pro model also comes with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera that offers 3.5 times optical zoom. While both models in the global market have a 7000 mAh battery, it was stated that the capacity dropped to 6400 mAh in the European versions. In addition, the Honor 600 Pro model also offers 50W wireless charging support.
In the Chinese versions, the biggest change is expected to be in the battery capacity. According to another leak source named Smart Pikachu, the Honor 600 model will come with an 8600 mAh battery. It is claimed that an 8000 mAh battery will be used in the Honor 600 Pro. If these values ββare realized, the devices will be among the models that offer very high battery capacity in their segments. On the memory and storage options side, the Honor 600 model is expected to go on sale in China with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB and 512 GB storage options.
