With iOS 27, Siri could finally make Apple Notes truly smart

While the allegations that Apple has prepared comprehensive changes on the Siri side with the iOS 27 version remain on the agenda, a new integration feature that is of great concern to Apple Notes users has also emerged. It is stated that within the scope of the company’s new artificial intelligence-focused Siri experience, users will be able to add content directly to the Notes application via Siri. It is stated that this innovation may offer a practical use advantage, especially for people who use Apple Notes to create daily information archives.

Apple Notes has remained one of the most preferred built-in applications for iPhone, iPad and Mac users for years. The application, which has reached a wide user base thanks to its simple interface, iCloud synchronization and cross-platform integration, has been regularly developed by Apple in recent years. Innovations such as Adaptive Toolbar and Markdown import-export support added to the application in iOS 26 version attracted attention. In addition, the visual changes brought about by the Liquid Glass design approach made the user experience more modern.

Despite this, the Siri integration introduced for iOS 27 may mean a more comprehensive change compared to previous updates. According to the information revealed, Apple wants to transform Siri from a classic assistant that only responds to voice commands into a productive artificial intelligence-supported chat system. It is claimed that the new Siri will use a large language model-based structure similar to ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. It is also among the discussed details that this infrastructure can be built on a Google Gemini-based variant.

A stronger connection can be established between Siri and Apple Notes with iOS 27

According to information previously shared by The Information, the new version of Siri will not be limited to just providing information. It will be able to perform tasks such as creating notes on behalf of the user, preparing recipes, or transferring compiled content on certain topics directly to the Notes application. This approach can simplify the daily workflow, especially for people who actively use productive artificial intelligence tools.

Today, saving information from services like ChatGPT or Gemini to the Notes app still requires manual processing. The user needs to select the text, copy it, switch to the Notes app, find the appropriate note and paste the content. Moreover, bullet points or paragraph layouts can often become distorted due to formatting problems. With iOS 27, it is expected that Siri will be able to directly manage this process with commands such as “Add this to a new note” or “Save this to my XYZ note.”

In addition, it seems that Apple has transformed the Notes application into a more productivity-oriented structure in recent years. Scanning tools, PDF support, linked note structure and quick note-taking features have expanded the application’s usage area. The new Siri integration is considered as a natural continuation of this structure. A usage model that can save time may emerge, especially for users who do research, collect content, or record information frequently during the day.
