OnePlus Watch 4 quietly revealed

OnePlus Watch 4 appeared unexpectedly and came up with new details that will revitalize the competition in the smart watch market. Following the appearance of retail boxes in recent days, the company officially quietly introduced the Watch 4 model and confirmed the design and technical features of the device. The price and release date of the product have not been announced yet, but the product page on OnePlus’ official website offers a great deal of information about the device.

The new model comes with a titanium alloy case with dimensions of 47.4 mm × 47.4 mm × 11 mm. Weighing approximately 43 grams excluding the strap, the watch offers a balanced structure in terms of both durability and lightness. On the screen side, there is an LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. This screen, protected by sapphire crystal glass, offers a pixel density of 310 ppi and can reach a maximum brightness level of 600 nits. In addition, the brightness value, which reaches up to 3,000 nits in sports mode and under intense sunlight, provides a remarkable advantage for outdoor use.

On the hardware side, the OnePlus Watch 4 maintains a similar approach to previous generations. The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 processor and BES 2800 co-processor. This shows that there is no significant innovation on the processor side compared to the Watch 2 and Watch 3 models. Despite this, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage capacity aim to provide a sufficient experience in terms of daily use and application performance.

OnePlus Watch 4 battery performance and usage time

On the battery side, OnePlus Watch 4 comes with a battery with a capacity of 646 mAh. According to the data shared by the company, the device can offer up to three days of battery life in intensive usage scenarios. It is stated that in power saving mode, this period can be extended up to 16 days. These values reveal remarkable durability, especially among Wear OS-based smartwatches.

In addition, improvements on the software side are among the highlights of the device. It is stated that thanks to OnePlus’ software optimizations, system performance is more balanced and energy consumption is managed more efficiently. This approach shows that software is as effective as hardware, especially when it comes to extending battery life.

In addition to all this, OnePlus Watch 4 is an update that focuses on improving the existing structure rather than offering radical changes compared to the previous model. While elements such as screen quality, battery performance and durable design provide tangible benefits in daily use, the lack of a big jump on the processor side may be limiting for some users. Despite this, the general picture points to a smartwatch profile that offers balanced features and stands out especially with its battery life.
