Honor X80i introduced: 7000 mAh battery and new generation processor

Honor officially launched the new model of the X series, X80i, in China. The new device is among the notable options in the middle segment with its high-capacity battery, updated hardware and display technologies. In addition, Honor X80i stands out as the first smartphone to use the Dimensity 6500 processor, which MediaTek has not yet officially announced. While this situation causes some information on the hardware side to be shared directly by the manufacturer, technical details about the processor become clear, albeit limited.

Dimensity 6500, located on the processor side of the device, offers an eight-core structure. This structure includes two Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz. On the graphics side, it seems that the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU is preferred. This indicates that it can offer similar graphics performance to the previous Dimensity 6400 series. Despite this, the fact that MediaTek has not officially announced the processor creates some uncertainty regarding the positioning of the platform.

Honor X80i screen, battery and camera features

Honor X80i comes with a 6.6 inch AMOLED screen. Offering a resolution of 1,200 x 2,600 pixels, this panel provides a smooth experience with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the local brightness value of the screen, which can reach up to 6,500 nits, offers advantages in outdoor use. In addition, the device can be configured with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage options. IP66 certification provides certain resistance against dust and water splashes.

On the back there is a main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels. This sensor with f / 1.8 aperture is accompanied by a second camera, the details of which are not disclosed. Despite this, it is expected to provide adequate photographic performance in daily use. Additionally, LED flash support is also available on the device.

One of the most striking features of the device is its 7,000 mAh battery. According to the data shared by Honor, this battery can provide up to 22 hours of video playback time. However, thanks to 45W fast charging support, the high-capacity battery can be charged in a shorter time. On the software side, MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 is included, while Honor’s artificial intelligence-supported features are also offered with the system.

Honor X80i; It comes to users with black, green, pink and white color options. The model, whose starting price is set at 1,999 yuan (approximately 13 thousand TL), reaches 2,799 yuan (approximately 18 thousand 170 TL) in the top equipment option. The first shipments of the device, which has been added to the official sales list in China, are planned to start on April 10. In addition, there is no clear statement as to whether the model will be offered for sale in different markets.
