First information about Google Pixel 11: Design familiar, hardware new

The first leaks about Google Pixel 11 began to appear on the technology agenda. Although the official launch is still months away, the CAD-based images show that no radical change should be expected in the design language of the device. However, when you look closely at the details, it is seen that the screen frames have become thinner. Although this is not noticeable at first glance, it contributes to the device gaining a more modern appearance. Although the general lines are preserved, a more refined design approach attracts attention with small touches.

Leaked technical information reveals that Pixel 11 will feature significant changes not only in terms of design but also on the hardware side. It is stated that there will be a transition to the sixth generation of Tensor processors developed by Google. While it is stated that this new chip will come with a different architecture with 7 cores, it is reported that features such as 12 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will also be included in the device. Despite this, the fact that the initial storage capacity is still at 128 GB is considered a controversial choice, considering the increasing trend in the industry in general.

Google Pixel 11 technical innovations and modem choice attract attention

One of the most striking changes on the hardware side seems to be related to the modem choice. While it is known that Google has been using Samsung-manufactured modems for a long time, it is claimed that it will switch to a MediaTek signed network solution with Pixel 11. This change is especially important in eliminating connection problems that were criticized from time to time in previous Pixel models. Despite this, the real usage performance of the new solution will be more clearly understood after the device is released.

On the screen side, users are greeted by a 6.3-inch OLED panel. This screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate is expected to provide a smoother experience. In addition, it is known that Google generally focuses on high color accuracy and software optimization in display technologies. It is thought that this approach will continue in Pixel 11.

Regarding camera features, leaks seem to be limited. It is known that Google has preferred the combination of 50 MP main sensor and 48 MP auxiliary sensor in recent years. Despite this, in the increasingly competitive smartphone market, it is noteworthy that especially Chinese manufacturers are turning to higher resolution and larger sensors. Considering the upper segment models of brands such as Vivo and Oppo, it may be difficult for Pixel 11 to compete with only software improvements on the camera side.

Looking at the promotional calendar, the Pixel 11 series is expected to be announced around August 2026. On the pricing side, it is estimated that a level close to the starting price of approximately $ 799 of its predecessor Pixel 10 will be maintained. However, considering the increasing storage need and the growth of application sizes, there are expectations of switching to the 256 GB starting option. Such a change could make the device a more balanced option in terms of user experience.
