JBL has announced the new PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus model, which aims to enhance the karaoke experience while continuing to expand its line of portable party speakers. This Bluetooth-connected speaker draws attention not only with its powerful sound output but also with the EasySing wireless microphone that comes in the box. Thanks to the special algorithm developed by the company, the microphone can reduce or completely remove the vocals of a song. In addition, it helps the user reach a more accurate pitch by analyzing the tone of voice during a live performance. Thus, it is aimed to make the performance of the person singing during karaoke more balanced and understandable.
The new model is currently available for pre-order on JBL’s official website and Amazon. The device, listed with a price tag of $ 419.95, is planned to go on sale as of April 5. PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus is the continuation of the previously introduced PartyBox On-The-Go model. Although the total sound power of the device remains at 100W, there are various updates on the hardware side. In addition, a more balanced sound profile is aimed thanks to the changes made in the speaker architecture.
JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus stands out with its karaoke features
The new speaker uses a 5.25-inch woofer and two 20 mm silk dome tweeters. This structure aims to provide clearer sound reproduction, especially in mid and high frequencies. In addition, the replaceable battery design is one of the notable innovations. JBL states that the battery life in this model can reach up to 15 hours. Considering the usage time of approximately 6 hours in the previous model, there is a significant increase. This development is expected to provide practical advantages in long-term events or outdoor use.
Some arrangements have also been made on the portability side. The handle on the top of the speaker has a more flexible structure. In addition, the shoulder strap has been widened and designed to facilitate long-term carrying. These details contribute to the speaker being carried more easily, especially in outdoor events or small organizations.
The RGB LED light system on the front of the device is also preserved. Working in sync with the music, this lighting system supports the visual experience often seen in party speakers. On the other hand, thanks to Auracast support, it is possible to connect multiple PartyBox speakers and operate them synchronously. This feature can help achieve a stronger and more homogeneous sound distribution in large areas.

EasySing wireless microphone stands out as one of the most striking components of the device. The microphone, connected to the speaker via USB-C dongle, can reduce the vocals of a song by 25 percent or 50 percent thanks to the EasySing algorithm. Vocals can be removed completely if desired. In addition, the feature called Voice Boost reduces echo and background noise during live performance. It also analyzes the pitch in real time and performs correction and strengthening operations. It is stated that the battery life of the microphone is approximately 10 hours.
The usage area of EasySing microphones is not limited to this speaker only. JBL plans to offer these microphones separately. The package, which includes two microphones, is available for pre-order for $199.95 and is expected to go on sale on April 12. In addition, the company also announced the wearable mini version of the EasySing microphone. Pre-orders have started for this model, which has a price tag of $ 179.95; Shipments are planned to be made around May 10.
JBL’s PartyBox series has expanded into a wide range of products in the portable entertainment systems category in recent years. For example, the PartyBox 720 model, introduced in 2024, attracted attention with its higher sound power and large-sized design. The compatibility of EasySing microphones with this and similar PartyBox models is considered as an element that expands karaoke-oriented usage scenarios. In addition, it becomes possible for users to use different speaker models in a single karaoke system.
