Mark Zuckerberg: Deepseek does not worry Meta

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reiterated its commitment to investments in artificial intelligence at the meeting where the company announced its fourth quarter financial results. Zuckerberg said that despite the rise of Deepseek, the Chinese -based artificial intelligence attempt, he did not plan to make any changes in the strategy of Meta. Deepseek’s successes with a limited budget attracted great attention in the world of technology, while Zuckerberg said that these developments further strengthen Meta’s determination to artificial intelligence.

Deepseek’s development of high -performance models at less cost has created question marks on the effectiveness of large technology companies’ artificial intelligence investments. However, Zuckerberg said that this would not prevent Meta from continuing large -scale investments, but raised his determination in this field further. Emphasizing that Meta is advantageous in developing open -source artificial intelligence models, Zuckerberg said that the company will allocate more resources for projects such as Llama Model.

Meta will direct a large part of the capital expenditures of $ 60-65 billion for 2025 to artificial intelligence and basic infrastructure investments. Zuckerberg said that more calculation power will be needed for the training and use of artificial intelligence models and said that Meta will strengthen its position in this field with its strong data centers and hardware investments.

Zuckerberg also announced that the artificial intelligence assistant developed by Meta expects to reach a billion users this year. This is considered as an important development that supports the company’s goal of transporting artificial intelligence technologies to a wider audience.

On the other hand, Meta’s financial performance also showed a strong growth. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the company increased its income by 21 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and increased to 48.4 billion dollars. Net profit increased by 49 percent to 20.8 billion dollars. A 21 percent increase in advertising revenues was recorded and the total income increased to 46.78 billion dollars.

Mark Zuckerberg: Artificial Intelligence Investments will be supported by a sustainable business model

Mark Zuckerberg said that Meta can support Meta’s investments in the field of artificial intelligence with a sustainable business model and emphasized that these investments will increase the competitive advantage of the company in the long run. Meta’s contribution to large -scale infrastructure investments and open -source artificial intelligence models show that the company will continue to reinforce its leadership in the sector.
